    FREE 'cheap' DELIVERY MAY NOT BE WORTH IT!!..cooker rolled through my hall before my eyes on delivery...not supprisingly it was damaged (from journey also). Replacement speedily sent - with good customer service by Colin, however the next delivery was sent with just 1 poor man - who was expected to manover a steel range cooker (I couldn't help with injured back!) also on installment found to be faulty. Awaiting engineer via makers warranty.
    It seems from looking at other reviews the poor and shoddy 'free delivery' seems to be a big problem and may loose them future buisness- after my experience I would rather pay a bit more and have it delivered with more care and product knowledge especially when I paid around £900 for a cooker(i.e. you don't roll a cooker along a hall- UNBELIEVEABLE!).

    Quite concerned about using electricshop after reading very poor reviews (after placing my order - doh!)
    I ordered a Bosch dishwasher and the website said it would take 5-7 working days. On the 6th working day, I had to contact them in order to determine a delivery date. However, after the blip that involved me contacting them, I can't fault the service. I was contacted by the transport department (?) on the same day who quoted a delivery date 3 days later.

    UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!! If I treated my customers like this I would be out of business - how are these people still trading? 7-10 working days it said, 14 working days and still being strung along by customer services who I have had to call 3 times. Lies about delivery dates, waiting in all day (yes, taking a day of work each time) 3 times for false delivery dates, 3 times cancelling a fitter... absolutely useless. Oh, and nonchalant customer services reps too who cannot answer your query immedia ...

    I ordered an AEG washing machine (in stock) and email confirmed sale and in stock and although small print said delivery to Scotland and SW England may be slower, it is going to be 2 weeks from order to delivery (hopefully). If they had said this then would have paid for "express delivery" what ever that is.

    The only good thing about electric shop was the price. I would not recommend. A big thanks to our neighbour for use of their machine

    I would highly recommend the Electric Shop as an efficient on-line retailer. Staff rang day before delivery to confirm delivery date. Delivery drivers rang first thing in morning to let us know what time they were coming, arrived on time, very pleasant no problems at all. Rang customer service to confirm free 5 yr guarantee, all ok, staff on phone very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely use them again.

    I ordered from the Electric Shop 28th September 09 only to get an email back saying that one item 5-7 days one tba please call and one end of september!! it was already 28th sept doh! I then did a search and found websites like this showing what a bunch they were, and got very worried and gave them a call they told me all was in stock, i said i dont beleive them and asked they cancel the order. they said they had. now today they went me an email saying they had had to cancel the order from bosh ...

    Do you think there is anything worse than a store which does not deliver your goods?
    Oh yes: a store which misses the delivery and does not inform you.
    I placed an order on the 31st July, and one week later, after noticing the order status was still "on hold", I called them to check what was going on. They said "We are unable to sell your item at the price on your order due to an increase in our cost price. The new price is £XYZ".
    There were grounds to appeal against it, but I'd had enough ...

    I see there are a lot of negative reviews about Electric Shop but I have to say my experince was perfect! I had found the fridge I wanted at the lowest price on another site but after speaking to them on Monday I was dubious about ordering. I then phoned electricshop and spoke to a nice man called Colin and he confirmed that they had the fridge in stock and could deliver today (Thurs) at an extra cost of £24.99.     Still waiting for delivery of AEG Washer/Dryer from Electric Shop. Said 5-7 days on the website we are now on day 9 and have had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it arrived to them on Friday (yet website did not say that they did not have it in stock) but cannot deliver it until next Friday because the entire fleet of delivery trucks have broken down! That will make it (if it actullay turns up) day 13 (working days). Almost double the time stated on the website.

    Ordered a Samsung fridge freezer from Electric Shop on 6th Feb 2009. IT was in stock according to website. Paid on card and money debited immediately. No confirmation even after week so I had to telephone. It was in stock only for back orders and I would have to wait 4 weeks! Reluctantly I agreed to this.     I ordered a cooker 2weeks ago from Electric Shop, at the point of sale i specifically asked for a cooker that would be with me within the week as i have 3 small kids
    to cut a long story short
    i have no gas cooker! and a large useless electric one(the wrong delivery) stood in my lounge for a week!and no sign of either a van to take it away or indeed a van to bring the gas one

    Was slightly dubious about ordering from electricshop.com after reading the reviews but everything was fine.
    Cheap prices, good website, we were contacted to arrange delivery.

    Ordered a Smeg KTS75NC hood from Electric Shop on the 10th Feb. Informed that it was not in stock but that one would be ordered on my behalf from Smeg. I expected that this would take weeks. Well, I received my Smeg hood this morning 18th Feb at 10 am. Now that's speedy service. I'm a repeat customer and NO, I don't work for, nor am I affiliated in any way with Electric Shop

    We bought a Samsung American style fridge freezer from Electric Shop, website said stock due in 17th Aug when we ordered. Said we would be contacted when the product was due to be delivered. Nothing happened for a week so contacted them to be told they had been let down. Given new date, same thing happened again. Decided to email sales with a pretty blunt email.     Will use this place again. Cheapest Place I could find. Fast Processing. Rang before hand to arrange when delivery would be suitable for me. Delivery was free.

    If you decide to buy anything from this company be very very wary, especially when it concerns when your order will be delivered!! Needed a DYSON urgently, purchased one from this company on the Wednesday with SPECIFIC instructions that I wanted it delivered on Friday the same week, received a call within the hour confirming that my delivery instructions would be met!!     The DVD/VCR Combo broke down, they collected it on 5 October and I am still waiting for it to be fixed. On two occasions I was told that the item had been repaired and would be delivered the next day. It never happened.My mother who is 76, bought this appliance. She's been given the runaround by a sales/service team that, in my opinion haven't a clue. You'd better hope that your appliance doesn't break down or I think that you'll be without it for about seven weeks.

    After not hearing from Electrichop.com a week later I emailed to chase my order. I was then informed that the £179.99 I had agreed to pay for a Tumble Dryer was not the correct price, and I was required to pay £209.99. Even though I had received confirmation of my order they would not honour the quoted prices, and as such, nearly 2 weeks later, I am having to place an order elsewhere for my much needed tumble dryer!!!

    I have finally cancelled my order after one month of Electric Shop sitting on my money and doing little else. Each time I called them I was reassured that they were making my delivery "in the next few days", "on Wednesday", "on Friday", "later today" and it would probably be on that one. It never was. They promised to call me back with updates. They haven't. 5-7 working days has never seemed so long.
