    Good Points: Lovely Victorian House, comfortable nicely decorated rooms, food excellent & very friendly.


    Bad Points: None


    General comments: First trip to the lake district but will go again. The Lairbeck made a short break special. When you walk through the front door you can feel the quality and you get it throughout. The food was excellent, don't go elsewhere for dinner. Our room was extremely comfortable and well decorated though next time I go I will pay the extra for one of the two larger suites which were beautiful. The setting is quiet & there is a very pleasant garden. The owners & staff are also very friendly. Can I find fault with this.... if I was to be very picky, it is a little way out of the town & the beer in the bar was canned.
