    Good Points: Excellent acceleration, Basic mechanics, Good looks, Excellent headlight on dark roads.


    Bad Points: Heavy on the fuel as low as 35MPG . 65mph Top speed could be higher. People think its a 50cc untill you open the throttle!!


    General comments: The Aprilia SR 125 is a great bike has started first time everytime apart from when she needed a new piston at 25 ,000KM. I use this bike for commuting and its great in town and the slower country roads. At speeds of above 60mph the engine gets a bit strained and noisey and loses torque. 70MPH achieved once with the wind behind me down a steep long hill. Handling is better than other scooters ive had.
    At 40-45 Mph Fuel consuption about 70MPG
    Average for me 60MPG

    The Aprilia SR125 is the best 125 on the road although a gilera runner tuned up is quicker, so that means I will have to do the same, I can't have that! If I ride at a normal speed, fuel consumption is ok. Fantasic for a 8 year old scooter.

    The APrilia SR125 is great value for money. I was looking for a scooter for £600 all that came across this one £550 its brilliant. It does 65 + with me and my boyfriend on.
    brilliant scooter my partner even loves it and he rides a super bike!

    Good acceleration in town. Stylish!! Fuel consumption and brakes are not the best. Overall, the Aprilia SR125 is a good scooter.

    Very fast very stylish unlimited things you can modify, parts are also very easy to get hold of which you should always check before you buy a bike as I found out. In the process of tuning mine up wouldn't spend my money any other way great fun very cheap no other 125 scooter is like it.

    A very good moped and can be bought for around £600 second hand, I got mine for £460 off ebay in mint condition.
    This scooter is very fast, I have managed to get 80mph out of it as standard, apparently with it fully tuned you can get bout 105mph out of this beast, beats any other mopeds off the mark. The rear lights are stylish.

    I swapped my Peugeot Speedfight 50 for my Aprilia SR 125 and hey what a diference. The bike is better on petrol acceleration is unreal for a scooter and a love taking the boy racers they can't keep up lol. The bike it's just the best thing since sliced bread lol. The bike is amazing for a scooter I swear by them I do a laugh everytime am on it a love it

    An excellent scooter, Aprilia is one of the very best 125's on offer. I have ridden my SR from Lincoln to Southampton frequently during Summer and Winter and it has never let me down. The journey is some 240 miles long and the SR just doesn't miss a beat, only stopping for fuel. I can relate to the overtaking scenario another reviewer has stated, it even pulls away from those people that try to... A highly recommended scooter.

    The Aprilla SR 125 scooter is the best I've seen and ridden so far. I love it! People try to overtake me on the way to work, but they never get past. The Fuel consumption isn't bad either.

    The Aprilia SR 125 is a great scooter, I love terrorising the little Scallys on there Speedfights who start revving to the max next to me!!!! "boys boys you will be beaten"
    The bike is truelly awsome and great to show off with, it gets some admiring looks.
    Now for the bad points, i've had to have two drive belts fitted in the past month, its also very noisy at full speed and also takes a few mins to warm up and the power to kick in from a cold start.
