    Good Points: None


    Bad Points: Sales people and customer service center poor. Long periods on hold; pricing on bills is confusing to me and find it hard to understand; discontinuing service is extremely difficult to do; this company has not adjusted my bill eventhough I have a legitimate complaint.


    General comments: To start of with I felt I was misinformed about price & promotion details. They told me I would get 3 mos. free if I signed up for long distance with 3-feature package; it turned out there were $45 worth of taxes I had to pay, plus the first month was NOT free, plus it wasn't necessary to sign up for long distance at all to get the package. Also when trying to disconnect my service the line went dead, so then when calling back was told the loyalty dept. was now closed & they couldn't help me. I tried to submit a disconnect request online but there's no way to do it (although I can order a new service anytime, either online or by phone).

    Qwest Phone Service has been the most consistent source of frustration and pain and 'time-suck' to deal with Qwest phone company. If you have a choice avoid Qwest at all cost!It is intense and frustration right now, that I must return to give you details.Basically I have not been able make a single order with them when I can expect receive what I ordered.     I have had qwest for at least 7 years now. I get calls every once in a while from them saying that they can save me money on all the things I already have, so one time I went for it. granted it was only going to save a couple dollars but that adds up. On the next bill we noticed that we were being charged more for these money saving features. So I called them and had them switch me back to the way it used to be.     Qwest disconnects BEFORE a disconnect notice is received. Their excuse is that it's the fault of me living in a small town where postal service is slow. It cost me $16 to reconnect. The billing department manager was intimidating and unhelpful, and that alone convinced me to leave Qwest.

    Qwest are awful. You will continue recieving bills after disconnecting the service and they will send them to collection agency without even sending you a bill.
    I signed up with VONAGE and saving about 60 $ per month.
    Leave Qwest as soon as you can!!!

    Qwest simply disgusts me. I have now been trying to just get 1 little phone jack installed, and they still haven't gotten it right. The first time I scheduled, they said they'd come after 3 pm because no one would be there any earlier. They showed up at 8 in the morning. The next time they didn't even show up. Then, when I called to reschedule, they said they'd call back with an appointment time. They didn't call back. I still have yet to get the jack installed. Nobody should EVER! use Qwest.
