Bad Points: Worse experience of my life..
General comments: Buyer's Beware. This company is fraudulent....Mad at myself for not doing my due diligence, but will take it to the next level if necessary. Ordered the SB-800 Speedlight for Nikon, sales person called me back to "confirm" order. Talked me into a Sigma for $319, told me it was the best flash out there. My husband did not want it, went to return it. The customer service rep reamed me out for returning it - yelling into the phone - told me I had to enclose a money order for $50 to cover S&H. No where on the website or order form did it say that. He said "Don't even think about returning it without the money or we won't accept it back". I was advised NOT to put the money in there, that they should just credit my account less S&H. I notified my credit card and was informed to send it back and they are REQUIRED to credit the account in 15 days, otherwise it will go into dispute.

Express Cameras sold me a used camera that doesn't work, with no warranty and no invoice, so there is no way to return the product.

Rude sales persons (both that I dealt with, I did not get their names) I had ordered a Nikon D200 (Executive) Camera package on line, got a phone call the next day from a sales person, first he tried to sell me the battery and charger that "should" already come with the Camera (theirs don't !!) at severely inflated prices. I checked previously checked with Nikon and all their cameras come with a battery and charger. The RED flags should have gone up right then. Anyway, after fighting with the s ...

Ordered Canon 70-300 telephoto lens and was sent a sigma version which retails for 200 max. Kevin, the sales associate told me it was an upgraded lens from the Canon. I then informed him that it was not an upgraded lens and that I wanted the Canon that I ordered. He continued to argue with me until I finally told him that I was returning the lens and wanted a full refund. I would highly suggest to never deal with this company. In my opinion they are very unprofessional.

Talked me into buying a Sigma lens for $499 instead of the Canon lens for $299. Then I found the same exact lens at Labell cameras.com for $129. They are good. Express cameras are liars and crooks. I had to call my credit card company to stop the charge because after I returned the lens minus 10% restock fee, they said it would be 30 for the credit to go through.

This store sucks. One year ago I ordered Nikon D70 package. When I called the store to confirm my order they told me that they do not have any Nikons in stock! However, the package was still advertised on their web page. I'm writting this because yesterday I tried to do the same. I ordered Nikon D80 (body) - yesterday it was for 299$. When I called they told me the same story - no Nikon D80 in stock. If you go their web page you will see thet today you can buy it even for 239$. That is ridicolo ...

I ordered the Canon 70-200 EF lens from Express Cameras. I promptly received an email stating that I need to call and confirm the order. When I called, the person on the other end tried to upsell me to a non-Canon brand lens stating that it is better and the one that I want would not work as well on my camera because it is digital (I own a 5D.) I told him that I just want the lens that I ordered, nothing else. At that point he told me that I had to buy the lens mount (what Canon EF lens does ...

Same as most...order, the order is "back ordered" even though it shows "in stock" on web. You call, per instructions, and are told the product is not American, does not have a warranty, does not come with accessories.

After ordering online, I was emailed and asked to call the 800 number to confirm my order. I then had to give the security code on the back of my card. The HORRIBLY RUDE SALESPERSON AND MANAGER whom I asked to speak to tried to sell me all kinds of other things I didn't want and would not let me go until I said that I would add the extra battery or whatever. I told them that I wanted the camera alone but they said that "it's just the body" and that I needed to buy a lens, etc which would amount ...

This company does a lot of business and treats you like dirt. If you want to do business with the devil, go ahead. But God forbid you should have to work with their customer service for something.

My 1st order of a moderate camera package prompted them to email me, asking me to phone them to confirm the order. When I did, the pushy salesperson told me the camera didn't come with a lens, battery, charger or LCD screen (as advertised). I ordered anyway, then did not receive a confirmation, tracking number, email, phone call or merchandise. I emailed to cancel and received no response. I called back to cancel the order and was told there was a mistake and that I should upgrade my order (whic ...

I ordered a Nikon 10-22 lens, advertised for $499.00 at Express Cameras. There was a number to confirm the order, I was given by E-mail an order number, but never a statement of the actual purchase.
A few days later I found a charge of $590 in my credit card. I called several times to inquire, and was not treated as I would have hoped and put on hold indefinitely. Finally my order arrived. It was a Sigma lens that retails for $450.

I ordered a Nikon D200 from Express Cameras. After two weeks, it had not arrived. I called the company on the 13th. The boy who answered the phone hung up on me. I called a second time and asked him where the camera was because I needed it as soon as possible. He hung up the phone on me again. I called a third time. He was very rude and told me that the camera was back-ordered for 6-8 weeks. I cancelled the order, but could not tell whether he had listened to me because he hung up on me... again ...
