I've been using 4u Hosting for about 3 years now.

Initially there were some reliability problems, but apart from an outage in June they have been V. good. Generally my websites are faster then average, and part of that is due to the hosting.

I think it's time for them to update their plans though - disk space and bandwidth is cheaper these days.

This is the worst host I ever dealt with. My site went down due to their server failure, I submitted the ticket and after 3 days site is still down! Nothing working, email, site, database...terrible, stay away!

I've had about 10 sites hosted with these guys for years now .. I wouldn't think of changing hosting companies. They are helpful and quick to respond to all of my queries.

I also have hosting outside of the UK and every hosting company has outages from time to time. I would say 4UH has less downtime then many.

Good basic hosting with 4U Hosting for a very reasonable price - and technical enquiries generally dealt with promptly and knowledgeably.

Hosted site reliability has improved over the few years I have used the service.

4UHosting have been my preferred host for about four years now, and have always been very helpful with any issues I hava had. I would recommend them as a very good.

My only concern is that since signing up with 4UHosting, they do not seem to be offering any more for your money. 500mb can fill up with an IMAP email account and space is much cheaper nowadays. I think all their plans should have an extra 1GB for the same price.

Other than that, great job!

After strugling with many hosting providers with screwy services and a lot of headache courtesy of the incompetent and experts at Yahoo.com I found 4UHOSTING.CO.UK. They worked efficiently despite a minor utility system disaster to help me get all my websits online in a timely and efficient maner. THey have the best services and exceptional customer care. I have been with 4UHosting for over four years now and must say I've received A1 service. Whenever I have raised an issue it is responded to with an attitude to genuinely help and with quick resolution. They have even gone out of their scope to help me with a coding issue I had. Highly recommended.

I have used 4UHosting for many years, in fact since their company first appeared on the search engines. I host over seventy sites with them and recommend them every time. Over the years there have been a couple of promblems, mainly at the start, but latterly they have got all their systems streamlined and the downtime is comparable with even the biggest companies. I have submitted many support tickets and nearly all are replied to in a matter of minutes.

I've used 4U hosting for a few years now and haven't had problems - tickets are responded to quickly and the control panel is good with lots of tools and extras.

The recent outage over the weekend of 6/7 June 2009 was disturbing but I made a note to check my several sites on Sunday morning and saw that there had obviously been a disaster of some kind as the sites were coming back bit by bit. I can't believe these people who say they've lost thousands - why aren't they paying a lot more for host ...

I've been with 4uHosting for a number of years and they've always provided good service and helpful advice. I have and will continue to recommend them to my friends.

The servers are reliable and fast and very adequate for my small business needs. Should you need to use the support feature you'll find the staff helpful and knowledgeable

Recently, 4U Hosting (4UH Limited) experienced a major setback through no fault of their own.This was a major power failure at their co-location data centre. I have seen data centres in other European countries having major power failures which caused all their customers to be forced down. I have a couple of sites hosted by 4Uhosting one for several years and a more recent one. The reason I chose them for the second one was for the service and support they had provided for the original site. As for people saying they lost thousands because their site was down for a few hours, at that rate of income they could setup and run their own hosting.

Excellent service from 4u hosting, very reasonable pricing and a very responsive help desk who go to great lengths if ever there's a problem, which is very rare indeed. I've 7 websites hosted with them and have been a very satisfied customer since 2005. I can't recommend them highly enough. I'm an IT professional for a global company with over 100,000 employees and wish our outsourced support firm operated as well!

I have been with 4uHosting since 2005 and currently have more than 20 domains hosted with them. They have always been helpful and timely in responding to support requests. There have been times when it would have been great to just pick up the phone, but I appreciate that if I want that level of support, I would have to pay more. Any problems have always been resolved quickly via the helpdesk service.I am happy with 4u's uptime record and have recommended them to others looking for hosting. ...

I've been with 4UHosting for four years and never had a problem. If I ever need support I contact them during the day and they usually respond within 10 minutes. There is no telephone support but you can call them if you have an account enquiry. Price is good, lots of useful features like scripts you can install and the email service has been fine. Overall I've been very impressed.

Both my website, and the 4uhosting home page, went offline sometime yesterday. Stayed offline until this morning. Their homepage is still missing. Never received updates from this company, but in general the service has been quite reliable over the past two years or so. Company seems to really want you to keep your domain names on their servers and has moved websites between servers without notice before. 4UHosting has been off-line for more than fourteen hours at the time of writing.Their website is down. I've no access to my own websites and cannot send or receive email.There has been no explanation and there is no way of contacting them.All I can do is wait until they come back online - When that will be is anybody's guess.I will be moving my business away from 4uhosting as soon as I can contact them.

Set up 2 sites with 4U Hosting less than a week ago. Both of them are down now. Their web site is down and none of the signup e-mail I was sent have any contact information - nothing I camn do but wait. Wish I'd read these reviews and gone elsewhere, what a waste of money.
