“DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS”
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, if you read this and other reviews then its you own fault, buoght some ram for my laptop which never arrived, what a surprise no answer to my emails...waste of time phoning...just another cowboy outfit. Will never buy from again, and will have to get my credit card company to do a chargeback, buch of idiots. Stick to the better stores like Ebuyer, Scan and Aria. I spend thousands with these companys repairing and building laptops and PC's so its their loss!!!...

I used to work for an online retailer when I first left university, and the moral of this story is to make sure you know what you want before you order. It is also standard practice to ship goods to the cardholder's registered address, and terms and conditions almost always make this clear.

Sometimes though it is necessary to contact the retailer. The fact that its nigh on impossible to have any sort of communication with Savastore via email makes it that little bit more frustrating and time consuming, as you have to wait for a reply which never comes, which is annoying. Email is the first thing you try in this day and age when trying to contact an online retailer, but I have found the best way to contact Savastore is by phone. You can't be ignored, but you have to hold for 20 - 30 minutes @ 10p per minute. The only way of contacting them by email is to get the direct email address of one of their more senior staff. That seems to result in a response.

I ordered a cordless dual dect/VOIP phone from Savastore, which was due to be in stock in 1 - 2 weeks. I placed the order, then I happened to go onto the site about a week later to check to see if it was in stock yet.
The order had been cancelled. No explanation whatsoever, and no email was sent to me to inform me that the order had been cancelled. The product was still listed on the site, and I had no clue whatsoever as to what the problem might be.

We have never had a problem with customer services or delivery. A lot of items tend to be out of stock, but I have found that if you filter search for in stock items, then there are no problems....

Searching on in stock items makes no difference. I have ordered items listed as in stock, only to find out a week later that they actually weren't. On checking the website, it was still listed as in stock when I'd been told it wasn't.

Unfortunately, they won't deliver directly to my work address. I sent continual emails and Savastore never answered many of them, nor do you ever speak to there customer service. I was in a no win situation, a broken printer and Lexmark told me to phone Savastore to sort it out but they're impossible to contact. After 20 or so emails I eventually got my money back two months later. So by saving money I ended up with a frustrating time....

Apart from when taking an order, it's immpossible to get hold of any Savastore customer sevice representatives. After sales service is the worst experienced ever. Do not and I request, do not consider shopping with Savastore, I am very disappointed that they advised me on compatibility of a product but now deny any responsibility on advice. Also are charging me 25% restocking fee, let alone the money I paid to the national customer service number, 27 minutes wait and finally gave up....

Bought a motherboard from them. Sold with having damaged packaging only. When I finally got the Mobo, it had obviously been returned from a previous buyer as the mounting bracket for the heatsink had been broken. I have returned a faulty drive, and they have had it for 4 months (confirmed on their web site), and they haven't given me either my money back or a replacement drive. They have my money and my drive and do not answer emails regarding this. Going through with legal action is complicated and possibly expensive, but I guess I have no other option, as they must simply wait for customers to give up on their money....

I fully agree and concur with what has been said.
I was sent a memory stick pro duo without an adaptor. I sent emails to cutomer services which were ignored.
Can`t get through on the telephone as the wait is endless and it is a 0845 number. You only end up giving them more money.
My advice STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. With this service I have no doubt they will be gone before long.

I have never come across such poor to non-existent customer service as I have with Savastore. My notebook has been away twice for repair. Not only has it been at Savastore for a total of 12 weeks in all, to add insult to injury they have tried to make me pay for defective components.

My system turned up with a loose, not in the drive bay, hard drive. OK so this may have been a rough ride in the delivery van. I rang customer service and was told I could open the case and re-fit the drive, you have to break a seal "Warranty void if broken".
