    Good Points: room size is good and views from balcony are good (balconies are good size as well). The food at barbie is good and slightly cheaper than the main street. The family are very friendly and helpful which is all you can ask for.


    Bad Points: One member of staff got on our nerves as she practically bullied us out of our room to clean it which was a bit off, especially on the morning we had to pack but other than that, cannot think of a single bad point about the apartments!


    General comments: We went to the barbie apartments with high hopes after reading other people's reviews and we weren't disappointed. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, the best rooms I have stayed in in greece for a long time. The bathroom has a proper bath with a shower head which is better than most places and plenty of room to get around.
    The kitchen has a little oven and three hob top and plenty pans and cutlery etc if you want to make any snacks.
    It's in a good location, set back from the road so isn't too noisy but the lane is a bit dark on a night but we didn't feel threatened or anything.
    The pool is a nice size and the sunbathing area is spacious and pleasant.
    Everything seemed to be kept well maintained, clean and tidy and was a thoroughly pleasant place to stay.

    Have stayed at the Barbie Apartments 18 times in 6 years and we both find it the perfect place to have a good relaxing holiday hence our returning so often. They do everything they can to ensure that your holiday is well remebered and they eensure the best of service at all times.

    We just came back from Barbie Apartments, Trianda.We were there for two weeks. A wonderful vacation. From beginning to end it was a pleasure. The staff were very polite and professional. The room we had was great. Ialysos has many good restaurants, but the best is CACTUS restaurant. Excellant food, warm atmosphere and good prices. The restaurant has also playground for the children. We recommend everyone to visit cactus restaurant.

    We just returned last night from our 3rd holiday at the Barbie Apts in Trianda , it was a fabulous holiday as were the others, we hope to go back again next year . Can also highly recommend Greekland for great food & fantastic live music.

    The Barbie Apartments are very clean with helpful staff. Towels change every other day. Nice pool area and good food. I would recommend.

    I think this place must have changed hands recently as I booked last minute 2 weeks ago, and went for 1 week. Was really excited as all of the reviews were fantastic, but when we got there I nearly cried!!!
    I don't understand how these could be classed as self catering apartments when you can't even prepare a salad with the equipment provided!!!
    The staff were very stand-offish and wouldn't even lend us a couple of wine glasses and a corkscrew.

    Just returned from the Barbie apartments. They are basic but clean maid service everyday, clean towels most days. Hire of the safe is 15 euros for 1 week air conditioning 40 euros a week. Food in the bar area ok plenty of sunbeds never had a problem the only let down is the beach but all in all would recommend these apartments. Trianda very close plenty of shops and bars very friendly place.

    Just got back from the Barbie Apartments and have had a great holiday. The apartments are very clean and bedding and towels are changed every other day. The owners and their family are very freindly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The pool is a good size and has loads of sun loungers, with a grassy area next to it.

    The new play park is also exellent for the kids to play if they get fedup with the pool, which is very unlikley. The Greek night is really good fun, just be prepared for a ...

    Barbie Apartments are excellent apartments. A good location - not too far from the centre of town. Lovely swimming pool, plenty of sunbeds, play park for kids and a lovely grassy area if you do not want to lie round the pool.

    Excellent holiday if you want to just relax by the pool or you are looking for historic places to visit would recomend the barbie appartments and rhodes. Do not however book any day trips with the Thomas Cook rep if you go down the road to the ressort centre and you can book through captin tours for half the price and the coach and boats are the same as thomas cook!

    Absolutely Brill!!!!!!!!! Excellent, best holiday resort. I would recommend the Trianda, Barbie Apartments. Customer service, location, food, accommodation all 10 out of 10. No bad points.

    Excellent food owners very welcoming clean spacious apartments. The chefs cooking is second to none especially the curry nights. My daughter loved the chocolate milk shakes. Limited space around the pool area have to be up early to get a loungers. All in all a very enjoyable holiday. Met some lovely families, enjoyed it so much all of us will be returning this year.

    As all self catering apartments in Greece these are basic but they were very clean and spacious. No problems at all. We got married in Rhodes town and the staff at the apartment were very helpful and friendly as were the other guests. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

    I have never written a review before but as I booked this accommodation on the recommendations of web site reviews which said it was simple but spotless I felt let down and decided I should write my own review. Having said that we will return to Trianda but to a different accommodation.

    You cannot visit Rhodes and not take a trip to Rhodes town, the old town is beautiful, like a medieval city. The new town is very cosmopolitan, you can get a taxi there for 9 Euros or the local bus runs there for about 2 Euros each but looked very busy. Also, Lindos is a must climb to the Acropolis but don't ride on the poor donkeys, the climb is not that bad! We booked with Captains Tours, which is just around the corner from the Barbie Apartments, opposite Annas supermarket. It only cost us 1 ...

    The Barbie Apartments in Rhodes are centrally located, but on a quiet residential street.

    The bar/pool area is pretty and relaxing, and the pool is a good size for this type of accommodation.

    Staff seemed to work from very early to very late, and they were cheerful and approachable at all times.

    We were looking for a late holiday this year and the computer came up with the Barbie Apartment in Rhodes. My first thoughts were of pink parasols and heart shaped pools but after a quick check on this site, and seeing the very positive feedback we decided to book.

    Just returned from a fantastic week (1st-8th June. rooms 104-204) at the Barbie Apartments run by Vangelis and Barbara..Weather was brilliant all week - high 90's...food and drink at the Barbie was superb (2 euro for a pint of ice cold beer), cheapest in the resort. Service and cleanliness at the Barbie is second to none. Vangelis's greek night was superb. Already looking to book 2 weeks for next year. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Barbie to anyone.
