Good Points: Rooms were ok,and pool was clean.

Bad Points: We got air conditioning for a night which cost us 6 euros and handed back the remote control to one of the staff....when we were leaving we got chased down the street by one of the sons saying we owed money for air conditioning for 4 nights...watch out for this!!!
Also, our flight wasnt until late at night but had to leave our room at 12, no where 2 leave our bags...asked them if it was ok to have a room for a shower and freshen up,she said no bother and when it came down to it she decided to charge us 10 euros per person for the usage of a room for 30 minutes...absolute disgrace!!

General comments: Filoxenia apartments were lovely, quite basic, cleaned everyday. The people that owned it were welcoming at the beginning of the holiday until it came 2 money!!! Spoke very good english until it came to complaints!!

The staff are real nice and very helpful!!
Apartments are lovely on the small side but cleaned everyday!!! There is a lovely pool side and the food at the complex is good, and beer is always cold. . . !!!!
Tholos is a quiet resort but there is a karaoke bar there and plenty of lovely pubs and restaurants. Have to say Billys bar is by far the nicest food in the resort, also Mikes is nice but a bit on the greasy side. There is also Canadian/Greek guy who runs a little restaurant (cant remember the ...

Great food home cooked food .. no cheesy buffet. Clean pool and rooms. Nice & quiet if that's what you want (I did). The family are so nice!....no bad points really...some foam cushions on the sunbeds would be good tho! If you want a full on non stop party clubbing fest this is not for you! If you want peace & quiet & sunsets after lazing by the pool then GO!!

We bought a plug-in mosquito repellent from the local supermarket; it worked really well. You'll need a similar cream if you dine in the local restaurants. The resort itself purports to have a beach; sadly it's just pebbles and shingle and not at all organised in terms of sunbeds etc. However, it's good for watersports and has a wonderful breeze unlike the eastern side of the island. There are places to hire a car; we found 'Payless' the most reasonable and we got three days for the price of two. ...

A great place for young families and people who want a restful holiday. The apartments and grounds are very safe for children. crazy golf, giant chess sets, swings, pool table. Its also a good place for couples to chill and relax. The restaurants in Tholos all serve great food and are very reasonably priced, Take your driving licence and hire a car for at least a day, its very easy finding your way round the island and Lindos is well worth a visit. We've been back 2 days and I'm looking at fligh ...

One of our most successful family holidays. Apartments basic but clean and good value. Who wants to cook in the heat or indeed remain indoors when one can sit in terrace bar? Good bus service to Rhodes Town with onward links to Lindos and other tourist destinations. Everyone very friendly and helpful. This holiday was a real tonic.

Filoxenia Apartments are in my opinion not a 4* IMO, I think a 2* at best. On arrival we had a note taped to the reception door telling us the room no. and no one to greet us. Dirty floors, plumbing on its way out and doors that don't lock were only some of the problems. We did eventually get moved to a much better room, but only after a week.

Very clean apartments cleaned daily. Complex has 2 swimming pools with plenty of space.
Excellent location if you are interested in trips to RHODES TOWN as the local bus stops outside the hotel
No rowdy guests and the resort is pleasantly quiet with a few good quality restaurants.

Room is clean and reasonably spacious with shower and fridge/freezer.

Very few bad points in regard to the Apartment.

It may be too quiet if you are looking for a party atmosphere. Resort has 3 all inclusiv ...

Use of air conditioning at the Filoxenia Apartments in Tholos, Rhodes costs an extra 5 or 6 Euros per day (depending on the size of the room). The rooms come with two electric hobs but no toaster, no microwave and no kettle. Kettles could be hired at an extra cost of 3 Euros per day.

Food and drink at Filoxenia is not good value compared to other places nearby. Those we spoke to who were staying on a half board basis were not happy about the lack of choice (sometimes only one meat and one ve ...
