    Good Points: Bought one three years ago, I enjoyed the unique functions it offered at the time.


    Bad Points: Motor or motor driver of spindle went dead after three years, I expected more.

    I Purchased the Toshiba SD-2109 Oct 1999 based on excellent review stats and a fair amount of discount :-), this player's given excellent service and performance even though the media it supports is very limited being authentic DVD originals & the usual CD malarky. Used with a Sony 32" widescreen, movies are very smooth with no jitter and my REL sub relishes the low-end output although CD mode doesn't get quite cut the mustard.
