Passengers should fight airlines charges on baggage and should demand a refund on the weight that they are not using. For example today I submitted my bag which weighted about 13 kilos, when I had paid for 20 kilos and I asked for a refund. Reasoning with the service person that they would charge me more if I was overweight so it's not unreasonable to ask for a refund when one is underweight. A creaking door gets oiled, so this will be my mantra from now on and I would advise other... (read more)

Beware about this airline service, Aer Lingus the worst airline I've ever dealt with. I booked a ticket to Paris from NY a month before my trip and got the booking confirmation and final itinerary by email. On my day of trip, I went to the airport to check-in and they told me my ticket has been canceled because they had some issue with my credit card. They told me I should buy the ticket that day in order to get on the plane. The original price I paid for was around $800 but they were asking... (read more)

There will be issues, but its much better than most airlines. TV on every seat with your own remote in coach is great. Food is great, service is good. Just keep in mind that this is not an american airline so if you call the US customer service center they take forever to get to you. That's the worst thing about them. Other than that, you may notice all the complaints are from people who want a flying palace. All airlines have issues especially related to weather and NO, they cannot fly you... (read more)
