    Following trip to Ireland to visit ill parent, flew Dublin to London with onward flight to Perth, Australia. Aer Lingus refused to book luggage through to Australia although I have never had problems previously with either Aer Lingus or other carriers. As my onward flight from London was business class, I had baggage weight of 26kg so, naturally, Aer Lingus charged me 6kg excess PLUS charged 18Euro for my bag. As Aer Lingus staff get a percentage of excess baggage collected, I was not very pleased considering I had already paid almost 200Euro for a one way flight to London. Staff rude and unhelpful. Will never travel with this airline again.

    Just returned from a trip to Spain. We went to Malaga via Aer Lingus. Was unsure to let people know in case I can't get such a good deal again. Excellent flight, comfortable, roomy seats, polite air stewards, on time outbound and return (even got in early both ends) Very impressed. Have travelled with lots of budget airlines in the last 18 months and the this is head and shoulders above any of them. Well done Aer Lingus ,we will definately be back :-)

    our Aer Lingus flight was suposoto be flying nyc-dublin. they said it had "mechanical problems" we had to take virgin atlantic instead to london, then transfer on a connecting flight, virgin ended up being late, we missed the connecting flight and they lost our bags. then on the way home aer lingus had another mechanical problem but we were already on the plane and couldnt take off for another 4 hrs we sat there and they ran out of food for the kids we were all starving and they didnt have dinne ...

    Thought I would try them out to compare with my usual carrier.
    Checked in from home before the flight and was able to choose my seat. Left on time and arrived early. Was very impressed by the crew on both flights, professional, friendly, and very willing to help, new clean plane with adequate legroom. Will def fly with Aer Lingus again.

    Flew from Heathrow to Cork rtn with Air Lingus, excellent friendly flight crew, good choice of food and drink available for purchase, arrived ten minutes early. no complaints what so ever and i fly this route regularly. Miles better than competitor.

    Haven't flown AerLingus in years because of bad service, but recently booked flights for my children - 14 and 11 - to visit family for the summer in Ireland. Just as I completed reservation I saw that they weren't going to allow my youngest to fly unaccompanied (Continental does allow this). I immediatley called Aer Lingus to cancel the ticket (literally 2 minutes after processing) and was told by the agent "gee, I guess you have a problem." I said this couldn't have even been ticketed yet ...

    Called Aer Lingus 8 different times. Each time the sale fare was available up until they went to book the names. What a scam of an airline. I will never take this airline. Horrible customer service reps. Most could barely speak english....

    I fly Aer Lingus very frequently and have done so for many years. I find their product to be 100% consistent.Flight attendants are always professional, and to be honest, amongst the friendliest I have come across on any airline.Pilots always keep passengers updated on flight status.I see many people complaining about punctuality. Out of the approximate 30 flights I've taken with Aer Lingus over the past 18 months, only one was delayed. Delay was 2 hours, I was informed at check-in in Dublin. Was ...

    I regularly fly london to Ireland &back and have used Aer Lingus many times. They are always delayed( it may be better early in the day but the later flights are rarely close to time) All I care about on a 50 minute or so flight is punctuality and they are absolutely useless no sincere apologies ever given as they simply don't care

    Flew from Gatwick to Malaga on the 24th April - quick and easy check in (less than 5 minutes). A bit sceptical about Aer Lingus at first but there was no need to be. Planes are fine for a short trip (2.5 hours) and the staff were very friendly. Flight back left 10 minutes early and arrived back 20 minutes ahead of schedule. Would recommend and use again.

    I called customer service prior to booking a flight for me & my husband. My husband has surgical implants that require a bulk head seat. I have Md. papers , medical cards etc. Aer Lingeus was cold , did there best not to give me a reassurance that they could possibly help us.

    A very comfortable flight between Heathrow and Belfast, staff on the ground and in the air were very friendly and the flights were cheaper than the likes of Bmi and Easyjet who also have flights from London to Belfast. One problem I find with Aer Lingus is the delays in Heathrow, seems they always end up delayed there. Apart from that the experience when flying them is always nice and I never hesitate to book with Aer Lingus.

    As i travel quite a lot with work i like to be able to relax while on board my flight,ive being flying Aer Lingus for many years and always being happy with them but myself and other of my staff have noticed how bad the airline has become in the last year from there time keeping,how clean the aircrafts are and mainly the staff they employ these days.the class there cabin crew once has seems to be disappearing more and more.

    As a regular flyer, my flight to Frankfurt with Aer Lingus is always on time and crew have always been very friendly in my experience. Check-in and boarding is always efficent and the airbus A320 is always in tip top condition.

    As Aer Lingus offers very frequent flights to the US and German cities, it is often my airline of choise. That said, doesn't mean I am always happy with them, especially the food is horrible on long haul flights, either something with chicken or beef and always this horrible scones thing for breakfast....

    Maybe is a combination of weather and airport. Overall this experience definitely leave a question that should I fly with Aerlingus again just because the great prices they offer?

    Aer Lingus, very nice staff. On time. Classy. They are very clean, on-time, everything you'd want from an airline. I fly with them everytime! Bad points, nothing.

    Flew round-trip from San Francisco to Dublin - 10-11 hour flights. I was very concerned about the duration of the flights, but once we got in the air, they were great! They served meals and tea/soft drinks very frequently, and I found the quality of the food to be very good. Flight crew was very attentive, and pilot kept us informed when we were delayed in SFO due to weather.

    I flew on the 1st August with Aerlingus from Cork to Birmingham. As I was an unaccompanied passenger I thought that the airline was a pretty good one to choose. They checked on me throughout the flight to see if I was ok. The crew were lovely to everyone and when the flight was only delayed by about 5 minutes the captain explained to us why the flight was delayed. If anyone is thinking about flying with Aerlingus I would recommend you to fly with them.
