Checking-in to Finas Hotel and Studios at 05:30 steps staircases and inclines were not lit.
Instructions of "you go up there and you go up there, and we will get back to you" were given to group of guests as means of guiding them to their respective room locations.
On arrival at our room, my first reaction was to leave immediately, if it were not for the time of day. We couldn't even use the toilet facilities as there wasn't toilet tissue In the bathroom.
The room was absolutely filthy, with "remnants" of the previous occupiers; most of the limited array of crockery and utensils were dirty, there was a repugnant odour coming from the one and only cupboard, it was quite clear the room had not been inspected or cleaned properly, if at all. Also the accommodation facilities are totally unfit for any guests wishing to prepare any sort of meal
Bring these issues to the attention of the hotel "staff" and the Olympic Representative; I was bewildered by the complete lack of concern, attention or willingness to attend to or improve the situation for me as a paying guest in the hotel, with a pathetic response of "all the rooms are the same, and, "some guest do take things from the hotel" "maybe your expectations are too high".
On my further inspection of the accommodation, my complaints were completely justified. That is to say, all of the crockery needed to be washed, the cooker/washing unit is in a state of disrepair, the refrigerator needed to be thoroughly cleaned before we would put anything inside, when we did use this, it was only to keep water, juices and soft drinks cool, the door, seal and fitment were absolutely disgusting. Again the refrigerator door and seals was in a poor state of disrepair.
All of the accommodation doors and frames were in poor condition with the doors opening on to the balcony not fitting or locking correctly, both the bathroom and entrance door frames are rotten.
The smoke detector would never have operated, as this was dangling from the ceiling and it was apparent a battery was not fitted.
The facilities around the pool area are totally unacceptable creating very serious health and safety issues, with the drain gratings collapsing into the gulley, lose, broken and eroded tiles all around the pool edge.
The outside bar area, flooded, with guests wading in over 2" of water, the reception area flooded too with rain water oozing into the location through a badly or none sealed feature window, the extent of the rain water eventually included the stairwell and toilet facilities.
In this outside area there is a drain gulley that following the flooding, was still full of stagnant water, this service obviously isn't maintained or it would have drained way, it is also quite apparent that the floor area is never cleaned, with grime and "debris" all over the paved floor we never once saw this area cleaned during the whole two weeks of our stay.
We have visited Greece, Rhodes in particular, many times before and are quite aware of some of the basic facilities; however, never have we had to endure conditions like this and all the previous hotels we have stayed at have always been clean and presentable.

I've now been to Finas Hotel three times and I have to say I never gets tired of it there, the people are great, top service, foods amazing and very clean and I cant wait to find out whether I am back again next year. Pefkos is a gorgeous greek village with exquisite views out across the ocean and right up to the mountain tops. It has a ovely sandy beaches with lovely clear water. The Local people are very friendly and will try and help you when ever they can I really cant fault this village. ...

Pefkos, Rhodes is small resort set into a hillside. Pefkos Beach is clean and the sea clear blue, if a little rocky in places. You can see fish swimming in the rocky area, so bring or buy a snorkel to waste a few hours. Pefkos beach is set in a bay and shelves gently into the sea which was calm on all but one day. We had the most fantastic holiday at this hotel! We are booking for next year (something we have never done before). The staff are none other than brilliant. The friendliest place I have ever stayed in. Great for the kids and adults alike. Pefkos itself is also fantastic and if you do go make sure you visit the Eclipse bar!

We loved this hotel! Have already booked to go back next year! All the staff at the Finas were lovely and made our stay really enjoyable. You also can't fault the food! The rooms are basic yet have everything you need.

The room we had was to the right of the pool, more overlooking the bar. It was a ground floor room and the views were stunning. We had excellent views of the pool and the sea. The terrace caught the sun most of the day. The bar at night was usually busy and there was a good atmosphere both in the day and at night. A good overall appartment, not bad location as you werent were all the bars were but near enough for a stroll to get to them. Pefkos bars generally seem to be dominated by an obsesion with football, but if you search around you will find plenty of proper tavernas. Not a place to visit if you have any walking difficulties as it is very hilly (I mean very hilly). Food reasonably priced, but by no way cheap so don't think going self catering will be a cheap holiday.

My wife, son, daughter and I stayed at the Finas Hotel in room number 185 which was right over the pool, the views from the balcony are stunning. Pefkos is a nice relaxed place and this is also the case with the staff at the Finas, nothing is too much trouble. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome with one of the waiters assisting us with our luggage and showing us to our room. The Finas Apartments had the worst rooms we have ever stayed in, the soft furnishings were awful, the curtains had huge holes in them so there was no privacy. There was a leak under our sink that had a hairdryer with bare wires hanging out of the back of it, so a potentially fatal situation could have occurred. We had a fantastic apartment at Pefkos, Finas Hotel and Studios, it was one of the corner apartments therefore we had two balconies.
The staff were very friendly and always willing to help.
The karaoke was very good and the greek dancing.
Excellent Accomodation.

Our holiday at the Finas Hotel and Studios in Pefkos was brilliant! The meals and the drinks were great prices, and the people are so friendly.

You get a few ants if the cleaners don't clean for a couple of days, but they usually clean the day they appear.

We had a fantastic time, and I can't wait to go next year. Alexandreas Bar is ace.

The only downside was that we were in room 207, so the steep hill was a bit much after a few drinks.

Hi a second time at the Finas Hotel brill, first week a wee bit noisy then ok weather is very hot for September. But will suffer it. The apartments are really nice. There is a wee beach down from the Nicholas resturant called Kavos it is breathtaking go there. Going back next year

We had a brilliant time while staying at the Finas. The apartment was lovely, nice and clean and looked to be fairly recently 'done up'. All of the staff were very friendly, especially the bar staff and waiters. Pool was great, not too busy, we always managed to find a sunbed.

Pefkos itself if great too, quite quiet, but that's what we wanted. I'd recommend hiring car and seeing the rest of the island too.

Well the Finas Hotel and Studios were really nice and the atmosphere was good. The people who worked there were good too, and it wasn't far from the main street, where everything is eg, bars, shops etc.

Finas Hotel and Studios - Pefkos has a good nightlife lots of pool tables and table tennis for free. It is only 15 minutes away from Faliraki water park the biggest in Europe.
