    Good Points: You can get keywords and get noticed on yahoo and many of their other search engine sites they pretend are independent.


    Bad Points: You have no idea where your ad will appear or what spot it will be located at, if it performs bad they will lower your add spot but charge less or so they say. You have no clue what each click costs as they average it out, let alone who is outbidding or if the ad really works.


    General comments: If you want your money to disappear quickly and not get any results you will definitely see that happen with overture.com. They changed their bidding structure but good luck understanding how it really works. If you get a hit that results in a sale, where was that ad? What place was it at? How much did it cost? These questions are now a mystery to you unless you get a third party tracking system. The rich companies are spending top cash while the small companies have no idea where they need to put their max spending limit. If you want to be confused and cry due to no sales then you will find overture is your best bet. If you want to save your money and try other companies then do so as all overture will do is take your money and then try to explain how that is good for you. One sale off a $100.00 spending limit is no way to make a profit and if you get more than that you are lucky. I would not expect anything other than a bunch of poor hits from this company that you have no idea where it comes from. They had a great old system that worked perfectly, as you knew what was going on, the new system is just geared to take more of your money, keeping you in the dark on what is happening. So good luck trying to get sales from these guys.
