    Good Points: None

    Bad Points: Very expensive insurance
    No yearly statement
Amount not deducted not shown on mobile phone bill
When i rang customer services i was told the supervisor did not want to speak to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

General comments: Dont feel a fool. I just discovered several days ago that i have been paying £7.99 a month for the last three and a half years on a phone i have not used in three years. I have only recently taken up internet banking, and during a review of my accounts wondered what this payment was. I had previously phoned my bank to see if they had any more info on this DD and they told me it had been set up through Currys!!! I had bought a tv from currys previously and thought it had been for this. I have only recently discovered that currys the Link and Pc world are all owned by the same company!! The first time i actually received a letter from the Link insurance company was when i cancelled my policy!! And it was only then that i realised that i had been paying for an obsolete mobile for years. I was raging!! The law should state that a yearly statement of amounts paid to these companies should be a necessity. I wont be fooled again!

Have had me waiting over 6th months for a replacement Samsung D600, they took my money for the "extra fees" but pass me from pillar to post, when trying to get a phone out of them.

I took out insurance some years back with a mobile I had purchased for my partner on a 12 month contract. We extended the contract by 6 months or so after the 12 month period and as the years went on, my partner changed her phone and provider.Little did I realize that when we ended the contract with BT, that the Link were not automatically informed of this. Needless to say we kept on paying £7.99 for well over 18months for insurance on a phone we didn't have. The Link are not quick to write ...

I bought a mobile phone from the "The Link" in April 1999 - a Nokia. It was my first mobile phone. They told me I needed insurance: I agreed. In April 2001, I bought a new mobile phone, and cancelled my account with The Link.

I discovered recently - and promptly cancelled - that the direct debit coming off my bank account at the end of every month, labelled "BANKERS INSURANCE", was in fact the mobile phone insurance I'd bought from The Link for a phone I no longer had, a contract I'd cancell ...

My claim was turned down on the following.
My phone was left in my locked car inside my centre console. The thief broke the window of my car rummage around and stole my phone. My claim was turned down because the insurance company said my claim form states I left the phone in sight, a complete lie. I am posting this I hope it gets put on the site but I somehow doubt it. Please please don't buy insurance from the link mobile phone insurance.

As a contract customer of The Link I took out the Link Plan Express mobile phone insurance cover. I have a P910i. I have lost the phone twice now, and both times I've had £600 worth of Link vouchers delivered to my door within 48 hours.

It's not a bad service. You can even use the vouchers to buy a different phone if you wish.

I bought a Mobile phone with the link a while back (pay as you go) While out on the town with friends in a night club I had my mobile knocked off my belt and onto the club floor. After about 30 seconds I realised and started looking for it. It had been picked up by someone. I walked outside and searched for a phone box to call it, and when whoever had picked it up got on the line after saying I would give them a reward they put the phone down. I went to the police station and reported it (requir ...
