Good Points: This bike is just COMPLETELY awesome, this isn € t just an overrated thing, and this is my personal opinion, from what I € ve seen of all the RS's they are just breathtaking. This bike, I € ve purchased second hand, but it € s lasted really well. Especially since it € s had its share and all I had to replace was the front brake and tire! It € s an almost ideal bike.
Bad Points: The only problem with it is how sporty it is. The bike itself is just so irresistible; you can € t help but just rev and let it whisk you away. My uncle has ridden it, and he can € t think of anything bad to say, and my dad won € t leave the thing alone! As a starting bike, it does seem a little bit powerful for a 50, but at the same time this is a good thing! If you want a simple bike to take you from A-B this isn € t the bike for you. There doesn € t seem to be a trunk of some sort on the thing, so I € m having to result to tie-downs on the tail. Because of this, NOT recommended for commuting. I see this as more of a "Fun day out" kind of bike. And guys, if your wanting children in the future, Prepare yourself before you brake heavily!
General comments: Powerful (for a 50). Sounds great when revved. Looks completely sexy. Generally easy to maintain. Catches the eye of people when you ride past. Brakes extremely well.

I bought my Aprilla Tuono at the start of the year, and it is great. It is unique, unlike the boring RS 50 that you see everywhere. It is a very smart and fast bike. I have fitted a racing exhaust, bigger carb jet, and a bigger front sprocket, and it will hit 80mph. It has a large powerband for a 2 stroke, and it is a real head turner. Parts are easy to get hold of. It doesn't have any fairing, but if dropped, the air intake pipes and a section near the seat protect it, so if you come off you ha ...
