so much fun i cant believe it! iv always had sports bikes but now i hardly use my yammy R1. the power is so instant, the ccm pulls like a truck and wheels anytime you like! i love the white power suspension and brembo brakes... but best of all is the sound, i feel like the devil riding down the road on mine... sounds like thunder!!! if you thinking of buying one of these just buy it fast! every day you will be smiling like a Cheshire cat i promise! buy 1 buy 1 buy 1..... but mines not for sale!! oh and i should mention that there cheap as chips to insure too, i pay 60 quid a year compared to 400 for the R1.... how ace is that??

If you are handy with a tool kit these bikes are very involving as you WILL get to know the mechanics intimately but if you persist, and join a forum for advice, they are addictive.

The CCM 664 is my second bike. pole position had so far my ducati multistrada 1000DS. But I have to admit, I take the CCM more and more...
Great fun factor, very easy to handle and top design.
You see very few on the street - a real eye chatcher (at least in Austria).

These bikes are great fun on the twisties and the speeds at which you can enjoy the fun are lower than a sports bike so your license is a bit safer, just don't go around trying to hoik up the front wheel and jumping speed humps. Its well worth trying one of these bikes.....although I have moved on to something more comfortable....a retro.

Once this bike had all its teething faults ironed out, and the engine loosened, the bike was fitted with a larger front sprocket. On dual carriageways it is possible to hit the rev limiter in top on standard gearing with the engine sitting 500 rpm into the red.
The brakes are fantastic. Very powerful and yet good feel. Handling is great if a touch skittery, and the WP suspension is non fade and quality stuff. The Pirelli MTR02's grip from cold but the rear is shot after 2000 miles. Paint qualit ...

I have owned all sorts of motorcycles and this is the one brand I would NEVER go back to - parts are slow to arrive (and you will need them) and other bike brands of the same type are faster, better built and give you a better service - DO NOT USE.

All in all the CCM 664 R30 super motard is a tremendous machine. Both the R30 short, and full height versions. Make sure you fit bark busters, then in a light spill there is very little that will break. I have just sold 2 R30's (short), and have replaced them with 3 full height, and one short.
