I have owned many bikes but the ccm comes top for me, it's very reliable (suzuki engine) has plenty of power good on fuel it's light. It has an extended swinging arm so offroad wheel can be fitted. Personaly i would't take mine offroad as it's too good for that lol. The parts for ccm are reasonably cheap and the servicing is not needed as often as some other supermoto's. I would't recommend buying one for touring unless you have an ass made of stone. Go on you know you want one :) (read more)

I bought a brand new 2003 CCM 644 dual sport and got both sets of wheels. I done about 1000 miles on the supermoto wheels then put the trail wheels on for a go. The supermoto wheels are gathering dust in my garage now. I take my bike off road everywhere in all weathers. I have had it 7 years now and it has had minimal maintenance. It never breaks down (touch wood). It climbs hills easily, and I mean serious near vertical bings. Plenty of power and wheelies easily too. A bit heavy in muddy... (read more)

I bought mine new 2005 CCM(it replaced an XR600) and has to be the best high speed off roader.
That I have used in the Australian bush but mine is best geared with stock sprockets for fire trail work.
The only weak point is the Oil cooler it could have mounted with a better brace
to made stronger they aren't cheap to replace.
The only change from stock was custom handle bar risers.
But truly a great bike.

I have had my CCM 664 for a 3 years now and apart from tyres and chains and sprockets its been great. The odd electrical issue but one wire later and its all good. I ride mine day in day out on and off road using road tyres never needed to swap them yet. The fuel tanks a bit small in standard form 120 mile to the tank 13 litres. In tuned form 80-100 to the tank the R30 comes with a smaller tank so get friendly with your local petrol station or pre progam your satnav for um. better off... (read more)

The CCM 644 is just an amazing machine. On the highway will eat the miles scratching through the lanes and A roads and through towns is high and controllable with superb balance. Off road it widens the horizons and offers confidence and awesome power. Have rarely ridden a bike that is as flexible and fun. (read more)

I tried to get spares for my CCM 644 Dual Sport off-road bike, but ended up going direct to the suppliers of CCM i.e. Talon. They were very helpful. I will conclude that CCM are hard work, and you would be better off buying a a DRZ Suzuki. (read more)

I would buy th eCCM 644 Dual Sport bike again. People stop and look at the bike due to its good looks and sound.
I have both set of tyres. When off road it is a animal it just belts up anything put in its way.

I have a CCM 644 D/S 2002 offroad bike.
I have dropped the back down with some packing in the shock, and pushed the front forks up with the aid of some handle bar risers.
For details, check my site ccm-motorcycles.co.uk, which I have just set up to help owners.

Purchased the CCM 644 Dual Sport offroad bike in Super Motard from in May 04, 2002 model. Great accelleration, great fun, bags of laughs, all at under the legal speed limit. Only question why didn't I get one earlier? Came with the off road wheels so next is to swap them over and give it a go! If anyone is thinking about buying a Super Motard then try a friends you will never look back just don't use it for touring! (read more)

Now April 07 so I have had it for 3 years, still loads of fun. 12 twisty miles to work with smile after smile. Got a sports bike for longer distances and higher speeds but the CCM is far better over short distances. With CCM race pipe fitted sounds teriffic. Rear Corsa doesn't last that long though for such a light bike, front lasts forever. Very reliable, no problems.
