Good Points: its a great local/English bike.its great on roads starting with a B or a C.its the motorbike version of the discovery.

Bad Points: long distance tourer it isn't(well anything further then a few hours without cycling shorts)and needs some money spent to get the extra ooomhpplacks sports bike top speed (is that a bad thing in today's speed obsessed world?)

General comments: I have had my CCM 664 for a 3 years now and apart from tyres and chains and sprockets its been great.
The odd electrical issue but one wire later and its all good.
I ride mine day in day out on and off road using road tyres never needed to swap them yet.
The fuel tanks a bit small in standard form 120 mile to the tank 13 litres.
In tuned form 80-100 to the tank the R30 comes with a smaller tank so get friendly with your local petrol station or pre progam your satnav for um.
better off getting parts direct as saves some money.
Easy to service yourself and they look good dirty or clean.
and the sports bike top speed yes they go quick in a straight line but can they corner as well as a supermoto?

I purchased the CCM 644 Dualsport 2003 model in 2005, hasnt let me down once, although I like my sports bikes (hence the fact I have a gsxr 750) this bike gives me more fun than I could imagine!

The CCM 644 is just an amazing machine. On the highway will eat the miles scratching through the lanes and A roads and through towns is high and controllable with superb balance. Off road it widens the horizons and offers confidence and awesome power. Have rarely ridden a bike that is as flexible and fun.

This CCM super motard is great fun, easy to work on, cheap to run, out-handles any superbikes on tight twisties.

My CCM 644 Dual Sport has been tuned and tends to eat back tyres.

I tried to get spares for my CCM 644 Dual Sport off-road bike, but ended up going direct to the suppliers of CCM i.e. Talon. They were very helpful. I will conclude that CCM are hard work, and you would be better off buying a a DRZ Suzuki.

I would buy th eCCM 644 Dual Sport bike again. People stop and look at the bike due to its good looks and sound.

I have both set of tyres. When off road it is a animal it just belts up anything put in its way.

    I have a CCM 644 D/S 2002 offroad bike.
I have dropped the back down with some packing in the shock, and pushed the front forks up with the aid of some handle bar risers.

For details, check my site ccm-motorcycles.co.uk, which I have just set up to help owners.

Purchased the CCM 644 Dual Sport offroad bike in Super Motard from in May 04, 2002 model. Great accelleration, great fun, bags of laughs, all at under the legal speed limit. Only question why didn't I get one earlier? Came with the off road wheels so next is to swap them over and give it a go! If anyone is thinking about buying a Super Motard then try a friends you will never look back just don't use it for touring!
