    Good Points: It was cheap


    Bad Points: It's a throw-away monitor. If it fails and you don't have the extended warranty, then it's garbage.


    General comments: After 1 year from having purchased a 19" Starlogic 1772ED from OfficeMax, it failed. There is no website for the company. There's no way to replace or repair the monitor that I can find.

    Recommend you compare this POC to an NEC before you buy. After a comparison I'll bet the Starlogic's low price no longer tempts you.

    I wouldn't carry another one of these home if they gave it to me for free... seriously.

    The StarLogic 1772ED flat panel was an amazing deal on a replacement monitor.
    Purchased 09/22/2004 at OfficeMax. Original price of $139.99. Promo discount of $60.00 brought price down to $79.99. Also purchased a 2 year extended warranty for $19.99 - (1 extra month thrown in for on-line regristration - so now 37 month total). Total price now at
    $99.98. So now I have an excellent display at a EXCELLENT price. Also, OfficeMax will give an in-store credit back to me if the monitor fails until 10/2 ...
