This was the worst 2 business flights I have ever been on (London-Bangkok and return). The plane was in such a state inside that I spent the whole time thinking - please let them have spent the money on aircraft maintenance. Inedible food, the stewardess made a big show of putting the "tablecloth" on the table before serving the food - but there was an enormous hole in it - which matched the holes in the covers of the 4 seats that I could see! I think the business seat width (and I am not big) was about the size of Lufthansa economy class, flat beds - hmm, no. Of course all of this was with the famous Thai smile - and the staff were indeed friendly. The only business class feel of the whole thing was checking in at the airport in Bangkok, apart from that zero business class feel - even the lounge in Bangkok was just awful. Avoid it!

Flight clean, seats and legroom ok. checkin good. take off and landing very smooth. food terrible. drinks ok. air hostess- very rude. they cant follow a simple word and u cant pick up their pronunciation. blankets not available to all though the flight was not full. all in all I would avoid this airline if alternatives available.

Thai Airways International is not a good airline to fly with if you have teenage children who like their movies. We had seats at the rear of the plane, we could not see the screen! The seats are really cramped and if the person in front decides to be inconsiderate and fully recline their seat, then there is no room to move at all. Food was quite good, however despite several reminders regarding special meals, we still ended up without our requested meal on the way back to London. Staff were ...

I fly with thai airways and find that there service is top notch. The flights are on time, the staff helpful and pleasent. The food i find excellent, and you can have as many free drinks and snacks as you would like throughout your flight. I would not fly any other airline by choise. All for ther price of an economy seat !!

Thai Airways International is a good airline, really impressed. Although the plane was old; the food was good, entertainment was adequate. BUT the staff were excellent, really accomodating..... We changed seats just before takeoff, accomodated us during dinner. After dinner we were offered brandy in economy class!

Flew lhr to bkk with Thai Airways International flight on time, pleasant staff, good food. London to Bangkok March 14th 2009 - please get some new planes, in flight entertainment very poor. Flight on time and staff were pleasant and efficient. Would not fly with them again only due to age of aircraft.

Flew from Heathrow to Bangkok and it was the worst flight I have ever been on. There is no inflight entertainment, there was a tv that came down from the ceiling about 20 rows in front of us on the way out to Bangkok, but the only thing that came on were adverts of random Thai services and products. The food was not good (but not REALLY bad either). The planes were very old and uncomfortable. The whole experience was so bad, I will pay more in future if necessary NOT to go with Thai airways.

My experience with Thai Airways could not have been any worse. My JFK-BKK flight was cancelled without given me any notices. Thai Airways reroute me at the last minutes (2 days before my scheduled departure) to LAX-BKK flight TG795. Then when I arrived at the destination, Thai Airways informed me that they had lost my suitcases, and that the company would let me know when they find out when and where the suitcases are. The company had never once bother to call me to inform about the progress of ...

I fly on Thai Airways on November 16 TG 677. And the Boeing 747-400 does not have a Personal TV in every seat in Economy class. And Thai airways should make some changes in their Boeing 747-400 and have personal TV In Economy Class.

I really can not comment on the food or the quality of the airplane because this airline cancelled my flight three weeks before I planned to depart, You can image how angry I was when I received an email letting me know that the flight I booked 6 months prior was cancelled with only three weeks until I was scheduled to depart. When I called to try to find another route the woman I spoke with told me I was not accommodating because I told them I could not leave a day earlier. I did receive a full ...

Big comfortable seats, lovely on board service and plenty of drinks etc. No reason to fly any other airline because Thai Airways is great and you also get Thai orchids at the end of your journey! Bad point, could be more prompt

March/April 2008 Jfk/Bkk/Kix Business Class. New York/Bangkok uneventful except vegetarian meal was inedible and the same meal served three times during flight. Crew very nice, beautiful new A345. I always have found the Thai Airways policy of a dark plane immediately after take-off (12 noon) strange but went to washroom to see out and amazing view of snow as we went north. Problems came when checking in for flight to Osaka. Showed business class check in agent (supervisor no less) Air Canada e ...

I've used Thai airways 4 times in 2 months from rome to bgk-perth syd\bgk and I've always have good experiences. All the flights were on time, they were smooth and flight crew was kind. The planes from bgk to Perth and syd to bgk were new with excellent on flight entertainment, the flight from Rome to bgk was not that new, but very comfortable with extra space for the legs (I'm 1.90 cm...) so pity for bad on flight entertainment but of course i prefer extra space for a 9hrs flight. Thai has a 5 ...

I flew from Heathrow to Phuket on a return flight, going over the staff weren't very helpful and I was amazed to find that on a 12hour flight in this day and age there was only one big screen at the front of the plane although we did have a tv guide to show us all the films and programmes we could have watched if we had been on one of the newer or more updated planes!
When asking the air stewardesses anything I found them very unhelpful although on the return flight they were far more pleasant.

I've recently flew TG in C from LHR-BKK (night flight) and would like to report what I've experienced>Check-InI checked in 4 hours before departure at the dedicated business class counter (there were two and I didn't have to queue). TG use SAS staff for ground handling, they're friendly and efficient. My request for seat 16A (exit-row, upper deck) was granted. My luggage was 5 kilo over limit and I was not charged, the lady didn't even say anything.SecurityLHR T3 have fast track security lane fo ...

They turn their back on you when you need them the most!!! - I am still to fly with Thai airlines tomorrow and we are already having second thoughts rewarding taking this trip with them. If it wasn't for our wish to spend our 25th anniversary in Phuket, the hotel booking, the extra money, etc I swear we would not take this flight. To make a long story short. I went to the airport to take an earlier wide-open flight (100+ seat available) Flight TG0996 7/2/2008 from Sydney, on two separate advises ...

Flew MUC to BKK very comfortable. My Friends on board said that the air conditioner was too cold, but not for me. Better than Lufthansa. Better long haul flights than short haul.

On August 8th my girlfriend and I (with her three children including a one year old baby) flew with your airline from London to Bangkok. The person checking us in said she was splitting us up. I explained this was not possible because:
    1) The children need to be with their mother. (I am not their natural Father)
    2) Children need to sit together to amuse and play with each other
    3) It is not the job of strangers to mind children.
    4) It takes two Adults to mind a one year old on an eleven hour fli ...

We flew from Johannesburg to Bangkok on the 27th. There was over 30 seats available in business class so I managed to upgrade my wife and 2 girls on board for a fee of $ 1800. I already had a business class seat and we had virtually the whole second section of business calss to ourselves. The service was brilliant and being a world traveller for business I rate Thai's business class as one of the best.

On the return ( 5th Jan 2008), the flight was overbooked, so no such luck with the family t ...
