Good Points: Low starting price point. Decent clarity.
Bad Points: None given the price.
General comments: The 3x9x40 Bushnell Banner is a fine scope for the money, with plenty of uses for shooting. The 40mm objective is non-adjustable, and seems bigger than many cheaper quality 50mm objectives. .22 rim fire users may opt for a model with an adjustable objective (AO), but this model will work for .22's. I find that the relatively low magnification power, coupled with the decent size objective, is perfect for ranges of up to 100 yards when I need quick target acquisition. I currently have this scope on my .50 muzzle loader, and it compliments it well. Small enough to be compact, yet big enough to balance well and prove functional.
The lens quality is on par with other models in this price range, and the build quality is as good, if not better than most at this price.
