    I have tried all sorts of different makes, mainly between US $50-US$300 price range, but in the end I always come back to Bushnell 3-9x40. My longest serving Bushnell Sportsman 3-9x40 is about a year old, currently on my Gamo Hunter 440 and done maybe 15k+ rounds and still solid as a rock.

    Despite the initial problem with dialing in the scope, namely having to shim it (I use plumber's tape cut to size and have all the edges filed to a tapered smooth edge), once dialed in it stays pretty much ...

    Bushnell Sportsman 3-9x40 Matte works great, has all the adjustments, i just had to get some decent one piece mounts because my spring air rifle doesnt like to piece mounts.
