If you stay here make sure you pay extra for air con as the fan provided was useless. The boiler had to be turned off at night as it literally boiled the water-v dangerous for kids.We upgraded to an air con room half way through our holiday as the August heat 40C was killing us.The pool is quite small and guests told us they contracted ear infections but we were ok.Watch out for sea urchins in the rocks at the nearby beach as my son got stung.Lots of nice restaurants on your doorstep and great excursions.

The Clover Holiday apartments were extremely clean and tidy. The room, although I booked room only, had a cooker, microwave, fridge, iron and ironing board. There was even a hairdryer in the bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is air conditioning in the rooms. The only critisism I had was the lack of use of the air conditioning in the rest of the hotel. We could not eat in the restaurant due to the heat in there. I would definately stay there again. I went as a single par ...

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of both the rooms and amenities at the Clover Holiday Complex. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and sort any problems that we came across. They were friendly and welcoming and having stayed in other hotels in Malta this is not always the case. The rooms were cleaned daily and all the floors were disinfected.Sunbeds and the pool were cleaned thouroughly every night. Not every hotel gives you an iron, hairdryer and free television in your roo ...

My family stayed at the Qawra Clover complex. First I would not recomend this for a very young family as there is a total disregard for health and safety. The ovens are run on bottled gas and are very old and unstable to cook on, the slighest knock sent pots and pans to the floor. The oven and grill had to be lit by matches. If you stay you must have air conditioning and not fans as was provided to us.

The pool is not that clean and my daughter picked up an ear infection. The doors to the room ...

the rooms are basic at the Qawra Clover Holiday Complex but what you would expect for the price. it is near to Buggiba - only a ten minute walk to the beach and bars. lovely place would definatley go back.

I would not recomend staying at this place. When comlaints were made to staff i was told it is 3 star accomodation! The baby cot my daughter had in her room was unstable and held together with packing tape! Chipped floor tiles, mould inside under kitchen sink cupboard. Not recommended.

We booked a one bedroom apartment at the Qawra Clover Holiday Complex and when we arrived we were shown to our room which had a double sofa bed and a room with two single beds that could not be put together. When we complained that we did not want to spend the next 8 nights on a sofa bed the owner just kept saying it was a one bedroom apartment and that was it! Eventually she showed us another room which was noticeably smaller but at least had a double bed. The pool was inadequate for us with on ...

We had a standard 2 bed apartment where you don't have air con. Was extremely hot so we ordered portable air con unit at a charge of 70 euros for ten days. We received the unit and we could not get it to work at all, not even cooling one room let alone apartment. Were told would cool entire apartment. When we told a member of staff, she was dismissive. She came to room and saw for herself that it didnt work. The apartment was extremely basic, not having a radio, electric kettle (gas kettle took ...

We would highly recommend the Qawra Clover Holiday Complex to anyone, and if we go back to Malta we would certainly stay there again. The complex is in a very good position - just far enough off the beaten track to be very quiet, but within a few minutes walk of shops, restaurants and the bus garage.

We have just come back from the Clover we had stayed there with another couple for a week and had two very good studio apartments.
They were very clean and the towels were changed daily and sheets changed during the week. We had air conditioning and they even supply you with a hair-dryer and an iron when you pick up the keys. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was very good on the two nights we ate there. There has been a change of management in the Restaura ...

Friendly room staff, clean beds and towels almost daily, night men great. Demolition of apartments opposite for the entire month, restaurant closed most of the time, management hard to communicate with and indoor pool was like ice. No understanding from management at the Qawra Clover Holiday Complex, but the daily staff were very pleasant

Clover Holiday complex was a dream. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (even the cleaning girls smiled and indulged in banter!) Our room 4003 seemed disappointing at first because it was ground floor and faced a wall - but, then we grew to love it. It was away from pool noise and street noise and had a little garden attached which I weeded and watered!
We only had a ceiling fan, and the temperature was 35 degrees most days (and nights) - but, it didn't bother us.
    Pool was really ...

Qawra Clover apartments are good if you book without breakfast or half board, food is both low quantity and quality.
When you go, book an apartment in block 2, with air-conditioning. The nicest apartment is room 2201 with a balcony of 8 x 2 metres, 1 bedroom, kitchen, air-con, bathroom/toilet and living room.
Don't leave a tip for the girls who clean your room in the room when you leave but give it to the girls themselves. Otherwise there is a big chance that the staff take the money before th ...

Just came home from Malta, and I had a fabulous holiday! I could not fault the Clover Holiday Complex. The lady in the restaurant cannot do enough for you, and it was the same with the rest of the staff. It is in a good location if you are not looking for a mad holiday, as everything is close buy.

There aren't enough sunbeds around the pool. Beds in the rooms had fleas as we were bitten over 20 times. Room temperature reached over 90 due to there being only one ceiling fan.

We booked our holiday to the Qawra Clover Holiday Complex in Malta three days before we went, and we had a great time. It was one of the best holidays we've had.

I'd recommend it to anyone. I will go back!

As Clover Holiday Complex is a little way from the nightlife of Bugibba it is lovely to have peace and quiet in the evenings if required.
If you want to see more of Maltas sites and attractive beaches we would recommend that you hire a car as we did and explore this great island.
Many thanks to all Clover staff, especially the family run on site restaurant.

We found the Clover Holiday Complex and lovely place to stay during our 1 week visit to Malta. The room was spacious and kept very clean by the maid who even did our washing up for us. The pool was nice and there was plenty of room to sunbath around it. There is also an indoor pool though no one seemed to use it. The hotel also has a games room and a bar/restaurant called Theas. To be honest the food here wasn't upto much but it was quite cheap. We didn't really like Qawra much as it was q ...
