I loved Kate Thornton as a presenter. Carole vorderman is too in love with herself. There is one thing having high self esteem with your looks but she is bordering on delusional! Loved Coleen too, can she not return please, she was warm, funny and down to earth. These lot now are too egotistical to represent normal female views. Denise is a car crash in slow motion. I am 29 and have watched loose women for many years, recently though I've tuned out!! I just don't relate to "any" of them anymore! Carol Vordermen is not good as presenter. Would it be possible to throw a bucket of water over the over excited screaming women in th audience of Loose Women who invade my ears every lunchtime. It is not attractive, unnecessary and completely drowns out whatever the presenter is trying to say who then ends up by shouting at the camera. I don't like Carol Vorderman on here. When I see her on other shows she is much more relaxed and funny, maybe she's not feeling as comfortable being in a woman only panel. I like Andrea more everytime she's on and often has very well thought out questions (Are they her own or scripted?) and has diverse realistic views. As much as I like JSP she's not really in touch with real life, just like Carol, Jane, Jenny. They are periodically funny but regardless of the subject discussed I kinda know... (read more)

I went on this sight to see what people thought about the show. Lisa maxwell is quite dim but that makes her the funny element on the programme as does sherrie hewson, they talk about up to the minute topics of the week that these two ladies don't understand clearly that is why we have Janet Street Porter she is brilliant with her funny take on politics but she speaks sense. I have always enjoyed watching a bit of loose women but I am really not enjoying it any more. I thought the whole point was to connect with 'normal' everyday women, the current line up just doesn't work. It's all coming across as a bit mindless and the battle to look young and glamorous is being taken to the enth degree. Carol Vordaman is particularly annoying and hard to watch, she should let her panel speak more. The panel used to be made up of people we the viewers could identify with and... (read more)

I am so shocked at the dim view of the panelist Lisa quoting people on benifits sit at home watching Jeremy Kyle and eating pies. Wow what a very degraded statement to make about the unemployed. The current crisis were all in losing jobs and the lack of jobs she should count herself lucky she's a panelist. As she'd be a non working actress. I think she could do with a touch of reality. I simply don't enjoy loose woman as much as I used to. Loved it when Jackie Brambles and Andrea hosted. I even didn't mind Kate Thornton compared to Carol Vorderman! It used to be funny when on the panel was Carol, Coleen, Jane and Sheree. Sorry but I can't stand Lisa. She's not funny at all, she's got nothing intelligent to say, sounds common, she doesn't understand simple news stories and what's going on in the world and sometimes she just doesn't make sense shen she speaks. She interupts everyone, she apparently thinks that her sad little stories are far more interesting than anyone elses and seems to think it's her own show. Why is is that each time I happen to watch this show Sherrie Hewson is always bleating on about her ex husband cheating on her, and how she longs for another man. While Carol McGiffin talks incessantly about sex with her 28 year old 'toy boy'. This is supposed to be a current affairs entertainment show..not incessantly talking about sex with the current/ex or whatever. Really boring. They are self obsessed sex mad women...always takling about themselves and their drunken excapades etc. Sarah Millican is rather pathetic & not even funny... and Cilla Black only name drops. Hardly inspiring daytime T.V....in fact they are the lowest of the low. Can't ITV find some interesting funny women...like Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley,Jenny Bond, & Pam Ayres..... whose sites are set a bit higher than the current bunch. Loose Women
Over the hill women hosting a show aimed at tackling hot topics with reference to their own daily experiences.
Unfortunately these 'fame hungry' women are still clutching at the last straws of their careers and quite often manage to turn the show into an experience of their own live's, mainly attracting 'fame hungry young men through shallow relationships' with minor references to the 'hot topics' the show was designed for.
Worthy of 'Best Daytime TV Show', in my opinion no,...

Loose Women is a great title as most of the women on the show feel free to chat about all topics. yes, some issues are inane but then they get their material from every day life in Britain. The show is about a hearty laugh which helps with the seratonin and oxytoxin. Sometimes presenters are not willing to hear each other.. Can become tense at times ..personality clashes.

Very honest and refreshing to see women telling it like it is and they don't all hold the same opinions on anything because of their diverse personalities and lifestyles.
I am not a great TV viewer only a small proportion of programmes get my attention. I especially don't like reality shows of any description. But this is unmissable for me so much so I now record it everyday.
They are all great on that show but Carol McGiffin, Denise Welch, Jane McDonald, Sherrie Hewson and Linda...

I agree - Carol Vorderman is SO full of herself - if you watched it today she was absolutely horrified when Rylan incorrectly guessed her image to be Colleen - how rude were her comments!!! I also think "little" Lisa Maxwell should give it a rest - she looks and talks like Charlie Drake. Time to switch off, which is a shame because Jane and Janet are brilliant. Sorry girls, your colleagues are spoiling this for you!
