Good Points: High velocity pointed hunter.
Bad Points: There are more inaccurate pellets to the tin than any other type of pellet.
General comments: Bisley bullet are a good pellet for long range hunting on tough skinned vermin, I have only shot them in .177 and have killed lots of corvids, starlings and the like. In .177 they weigh 7.7 grains and in .22, 14.4, the only thing about pointed pellets is that they tend to be less accurate than dome or flat heads dont ask me why because I dont know, if anyone does please enlighten me. The best pointies in my opinion are Bisley, Crosman, and H&N, again please tell me of any others if you have found them. These particular pointies are the closest looking thing to mushrooms that I`ve seen. They look as their name suggests-Bullet, very aerodynamic and have a straighter trajectory, I have even fired them out of a smoothbore Diana Original G25S a very old gun which is low powered and they had a better velocity for long range plinking!!
I bought five tins of 500 which cost me £20 Works out at £4.00 a tin (dont know if it was cheaper in bulk) but I reckon its about right.
You have probably seen a lot of pellet reviews by me in here, the reason for this is that I have searched the web for pellet info but to no avail, Ideally a picture of the pellet and tin, so I decided to do some testing and write about it myself, I will add more as I test them and I hope this is of use to someone, happy hunting all, Thumper.
