The advantage of Elpida Studios is it is not a massive hotel with hundreds of rooms, its a small hotel with a few dozen rooms located in a fantastic location next to the beach. I would strongly reccomend this hotel to people of all ages as its ideal for families as well as for the younger crowd like myself, its in within walking distance to the nightlife! Close to beach was a plus point, all the staff were very friendly and was easy to get on with. Pool bar was open 24 hours a day and ideal for snacks during the day. Many restaurants along the beach for food in the evening. If you are going for the nightlife its easy enough to get back to the hotel after a few drinks, just follow the beach until you come to the hotel. Very basic room facilities but this is to be expected from a lower budget self-catering hotel. Is around a 20 min walk to the centre of Faliraki, as long as you don't do the walk more than twice a day, its not too bad.

Notices inside your room door with instructions to respect you room. If you mark sheets with Henna tattoos you will be charged. Not what I want to be greeted with. A welcome to the Elpida and hope you enjoy your stay with us would have been much more appreciated. I later found out from the owners that they have had guests who have abused the facilities and I sincerely do feel sorry that they have had to bear the cost and distress from people whom should be ashamed. We only bought a few drinks an ...

Just the most perfect place to chill!! One of my favorite places in the world, been to Rhodes many times in the last 8 years and since finding Elpida haven't looked for anywhere else, we always now request it often staying a couple of times a year. In fact just looking now to get a late holiday there for September. Sounds boring I know to go back to the same place but when you need that de-chill holiday it is just the place. We do a holiday we have never been to a year and then always back to El ...

Everything about the holiday was wicked from getting to the hotel to leaving, the food was lovely and thats says a lot for me because I'm a fussy eater ha ha!! If your looking for nightlife your only a 10 minute walk from it, its worth the walk!!!! I was a bit scared about going to Faliraki after the stories I heard but its a lovely place to visit.

Overall Elpida Studios in Faliraki is an ok place to stay. The best beach however to go to is at the end of bar street, opposite macdonalds, lovely beach, shame we didn't find it in the beginning. Bar and club street is a good 20min walk from the studios, which we found quite annoying after a while, as we would do this walk a good 4 times in a day, which would be tiring especially in the hot heat, but after a night out we decicded to get a taxi which only cost 5euros and between 3 people is noth ...

I'm not very happy with this experience and I don't usually have high standards... I would not go again. Also we were told we will have a TV, but this was not provided! Was on the ground floor, view from the balcony was a white wall, room was only cleaned twice on the 7 night duration of our stay. We told them our kettle was not working. We were not provided with a new one. Only a 2 hob portable stove. On arrival dishes were not clean and we had to wash them again. 25 min casual walk to the mai ...

The water park was great! Go there! Either on the organised excursion or just get a taxi up there (€7 (ish) each way and €20 entrance for adults).

I would recommend the Elpida Studios in Faliraki to others. It's certainly good value, and a nice, clean, friendly place. It's also less than an hour's transfer from the airport, which is a bonus.

Go there and have fun! (And buy the night bar man a drink for me).

This was our third stay in Faliraki, and the Elpida Studios were the cleanest and the staff were very friendly, especially the night bar man. He was very funny, and he helped make our holiday one to remember.

The man who works the late shift (11pm - 9am) in the pool bar is the best ever. He was always happy, and he was a great addition to the holiday. He would always make you anything to eat from the menu, whatever the time.
Thanks for making our holiday at the Elpida Studios in Faliraki a great holiday.

The Libra rep is totally off her head, but in a good way.

We were a bit sceptical about going to Faliraki after all the stories we had heard, but we couldn't have wished for a better holiday. We loved every minute of it. The hotel is just basic, but it's got everything you need. The rooms are clean and tidy, the view from the balcony was gorgeous, the pool area was like heaven, the staff are fab and the beach is literally a stones throw away. What more could you possibly want?

The Elpida Studios themselves were not too close to the resort center and first impressions when arriving were not that great, however, the rooms are basically all you are looking for. Beds, clean and tidy, somewhere to cook/eat and a bathroom with shower, if you're looking for luxury then best not to go to Rhodes at all. The apartments are about a 10 minute walk along a gorgeous beach into the main resort which means that you're not still awake at 4 in the morning should you chose a quiet eveni ...
