    Good Points: text to say the when they would be delivered


    General comments: I ordered a pair of hush Puppy sandals online from Schuh, I received a text the morning they were to be delivered, good service I thought.

    Wrong sandal and wrong size, I needed the sandals for going out and resigned myself to the idea I would have to make do with the style I was sent, until I realised they were size 8 and I need a 5

    I received my shoes from schuhstore.co.uk today. A pair of white Skate shoes. Well, white is what the description on the website said.
    It turns out one of the shoes is white, and one is a kind of yellowy off white. The difference is stark. There also seems to be some dirt on the bottom of one of the shoes.

    In my opinion they are not in a 'new' condition (well one is)

    I have written an email of complaint.

    If anything nice happens I shall report back.

    i used the schuh store online and ordered a pair of boots reduced from £60.00 to £30.00, i thought what a bargain and purchased them. The next day i was showing a friend the boots i had ordered and they were now reduced to £20.00, i contacted shuch and asked them if i would be entitled to the £10.00 difference as i had ordered them in the last 12 hours, they said that the only way they could do this was by me returning the item then purchasing them again. i got over that ...

    I made the mistake of going into Schuh in the Bullring in Birmingham over Christmas as I was looking for a new pair of shoes for work. I have difficulty looking for shoes as I am a size seven wide fitting. I found the staff to seem less than helpful when I tried a pair of shoes on the member of staff just said they'll give even through I was clearly in pain.     Whether it was the Manchester store or the Oxford street store I would shop in I would always end up storming out and feeling like I wanted to punch somebody. The actual stock in Schuh is brilliant with many different brands e.g. Rocket Dog, Red or Dead etc. However I find the service very disappointing. I've never known such seemingly sloppy sales. I have never actually managed to buy any of my shoes from Schuh as in my experience, whenever I have asked for the other shoe the sales person runs ...

    I bought K-Swiss shoes from Schuh stores Oxford branch for 54.99 pounds and after four weeks the upper leather started peeling off and inside lining wore out as a result of wearing them everyday to school.

    Two members of staff I dealt with at the Oxford city branch told me that all their shoes are for occasional wear only and made not to last more than two months if you are going to wear them on a daily bases and they don't guarantee their products.

    I've bought my last 5 pairs of trainers from this shoe shop, and I never had a problem. Until now! I recently bought a pair of Merrell's in leather at the Oxford Street branch in London. They had to be ordered in, as the pair in the store were faulty (material split from sole).

    I collected the shoes a week later, and after only a week they showed a small split in the material. I returned them to Schuh straight away, only to be told by the assistant manager that she had "never seen that before ...

    I waited for a long time to see the Schuh store manager in Market Street, Manchester and was told after only three months that due to wear and tear that my faulty trainers could not be replaced. He blamed canvas shoes generally and so I can only deduce in future I will buy well made good quality leather shoes from a proper shoe specialist. 35 pounds for three months occasional wear is not acceptable.

    Schuh also sell ex-display shoes on eBay, most of the shoes are still ones that are being sold in the shop and not ones that are years old. If you go to eBay and search for schuhstore you will find it, all shoes start at 0.99 and some real bargains are to be had. I have just taken express delivery one a pair of red or dead stilettos shop price £74.99 eBay price £40.00. They are also in a brand new condition. Well worth a look I think.

    Schuh is just a fantastic store, and I always have a great shopping experience whenever I go in.

    They sell a great range of shoes from casuals to formal, so you can always find something you need. Their shoes also tend to be a bit different from other high street stores, so chances are you won't see loads of other people wearing your shoes! Staff are always friendly and willing to help, and can also order things in especially if not in stock.

    Schuh - Bought my school shoes there, they are great Rocket Dogs. I have worn them for ages now, and haven't fallen apart yet.

    I love Shuh! There are two in Edinburgh, which I go to regularly. Yesterday, I bought a really cool pair of babycham trainers and some rocket dog shoes and I love them both. No where else do you get shoes like that except on the internet!

    Schuh is a shoe shop that has very nice stock from sport shoes to sexy high-heeled leather boots. This is not the cheapest of shops but the styles are well worth paying for.
