    Good Points: Cheap
    Good quality feel about it
    Review are good

Bad Points: A bit too much advertising in the back

General comments: I have nearly every edition of DVD Review magazine and I would definitely recommend it. Price at just £3.99 per month (although if you subscribe it works out a lot cheaper per month). The reviews are good and the quality of the magazine is top notch. There is a lot of advertising in the back most of it adult orientated. So just be careful if you have children. Apart from that it's a definite must

DVD Review is alright, as far as it goes. But, let's be honest - it seems to bear rather a large resemblance to other high-street mags and seems to borrow rather heavily from film screening reviews which precede it by some months. Having said that, it does provide a useful summary - but do we need anything other than a summary of the extras? If we're already film lovers, buying films, we know whether they're worth a carrot or not...

I've bought DVD Review since the first issue and it's still the best. It has half or full page reviews (which are always fair and un-biased) of all the latest releases, plus some more unusual ones. Every month you get either an interview with stars or directors and it doesn't have more adverts than reviews.
