Bad Points: Well, I haven't faced any problem with Ca Antivirus... If someone have faced problems, please let me know by commenting me.

General comments: Ca Antivirus is real good for virus healing's. Its real time protection
detects automatically infected files, and automatically delete unwanted files. Ca antivirus has improved its database to protect from millions of viruses.C a Antivirus is easy to use. Ca antivirus has a capability to update itself automatically per day. Ca antivirus runs smoothly in tray. It scans thoroughly those files, Ca antivirus takes 30 min for scanning the pc. Ca antivirus is tough on threats but easy on you.
Ca Antivirus is an great antivirus software that offers great opportunities that other antivirus dont as far as I am aware. Just I cant say nothing but a thing that Ca Antivirus is the best for virus protection ever.

I purchased a 3-pack about a year ago. When renewing I purchased anothers 3 renewal keys. I ended up with nine. The renewal page gave no indication that it was aware I had a 3 pack. I returned six, as confirmed by the CA site, however the software never recognized the update. OK, a little frustrating, but I'm sure they have run into this before. Who would know? they never responded to my support tickets. I had similar experiences with their ArcServe backup software a few years back (the ...

My antivirus is always (automatically) up to date but a virus got past 'EZ antivirus 2005' and disabled it, I am pretty clued up on computers but I was unable to fix it. Computer Associates were very unhelpfull. I now use a different Antivirus.

I'm a network administrator - I have dozens of servers and hundreds of computers that must be kept safe from viruses. CA ETrust is running on all my servers and workstations. Over 7 years I have yet to lose one file or one computer to a virus. I can configure ETrust to download new definitions every 10 minutes if I want to, or every 6 hours (which is more realistic). I can watch the signatures come down, check them, decide what to do with viruses that are found, etc.
    Real-time mode is extre ...

EZ Antivirus 2005 came recommended to me by a Microsoft employee. It is apparently commonplace in the Microsoft offices. I must say that I let this cloud my judgement, I theorised that if MS use it, it must work well with Windows. I didn't take into account however, that offices are strange places, and even in the MS offices, decisions can be made by the wrong person.

EZ has the appearance of a very low maintenance, compact program. It it easy to install, and comes in a very small package to ...

EZ Antivirus has a feature called Snooze. It disables the real-time protection for a user specified period (1 to 99 minutes), which is great for new software installations or to troubleshoot a system problem.

Overall eTrust EZ Anti-Virus offers poor virus protection. There is no Quarantine function for infected, uncleanable files. Archive formats support is terrible, it only scans single level ZIP-files with no support for self-extracting archives also cannot scans protected compressed files. ...
