Good Points: A good deal to do in Puerto Rico and also the quality of food is good. I would like to mention San Miguel as a favorite restaurant as long as you don't mind waiting in a que to get in, this really is worth the wait! The hot and Sunny weather is almost guaranteed. A good service on the taxis for around 3-5 Euros.

Bad Points: The hill is a bit of a killer, especially if your apartment is Monte Paraiso; situated at the top of he hill. I wouldn't dare walk it up the way!

General comments: An entertaining holiday with a lot to do. The pool is my preference, but if you are a beach lover, the one to go to is the Armadoras beach, not too far away. Plenty of Sunshine!

I had already booked before accessing the reviews on Review Centre, so I was a little concerned with some of the comments. My experience was completely the opposite and I would certainly return.

The Monte Paraiso Apartments are clean tidy and make he ideal base for a relaxing fun holiday in the sun. Rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were helpful and pleasant. The facilities are excellent and you get full use of the facilities at neighbouring hotel the Riosol Aparthotel. Customer service was brilliant and staff at the Riosol were on hand 24 hours a day. The location was fantastic, it was unspoilt and the views were amazing. Taxis were just a short stroll away and for 3 Euros you ...

Would highly recommend to anyone who is a heavy sleeper. Apartments are basic but very clean, and the pool and children's play area are great. Reception at the Riosol was very helpful, and the views were out of this world.

The only drawback of staying at the Monte Paraiso Apartments in Puerto Rico was the loud entertainment from the next complex along, until approximately 3am every morning. It would not be a problem if you're a night animal, but for a light sleeper with a 4 year old, it got ...

We had the best holiday we have ever had! The Monte Paraiso Apartments in Puerto Rico were very clean and basic, and had everything we needed. The pool was great, especially happy hour. We had so much fun, and the people who ran the snack and cocktail bar were nice too. The views were breathtaking and we couldn't have wished for a better place to have stayed.

We cannot wait for next year, as we will be going back.

I loved the views at the Monte Paraiso Apartments in Gran Canaria, and it was within easy reach of the Europa. If you're over 55 forget it, even with taxis at 3 euros each to the bottom, you still have to contend with stairs (lots of them).

The pool had deck chairs covered with towels at 10:00am, which meant it wasn't easy to find a spot by the pool. And yes, there are many stray cats.

The accommodation was great, and I was in 2101, which is 2 bedroom right by the pool, and the good part w ...

It was a bit unclear what we had to do on arrival at the Monte Paraiso Apartments in Gran Canaria as the reception was unattended the whole time we were there, but the staff at the Risol were helpful. The apartments were as expected for the price, although there wasn't really enough room for a family of 4. Showering was the only real problem because there were 4 of us and the hot water is extremely limited. You have to wait 20-30 minutes for it to reheat (but we managed)(no chance of filling ...

Where to start. Cockroaches everywhere! The Monte Paraiso Apartments in Gran Caria were joining up with the Rio Sol nearby; hence the Monte Paraiso was abandoned. The pool was hardly ever cleaned, and there was cat poo under some of the loungers. There was one tiny little bar which looked scruffy. One girl managed it, and it was supposed to be open from 8.00am 'til late. She strolled in at mid day and left at six, so no chance of breakfast. If you dared to eat the breakfast that is. There was no ...

We stayed at Monte Paraiso Apartments as a last minute deal for Christmas and found it met our expectations, but did not exceed them. Saying that, the view is out of this world and everything within the apartment was functional. Contained within were: twin beds, two sofa beds, a tiny dining table and chairs, with two chairs and table on the balcony. In the kitchen were two hobs, unfortunately no oven or microwave, limited cutlery, kettle and toaster. In the bathroom- toilet, bidet, bath/shower ( ...

My boyfriend and I (both 18) booked a self-catering holiday at these apartments on a late deal, and were very pleased with them. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and although the numbering system for these apartments is a little confusing at first, we soon found our apartment. It was very clean, with ample space for two people. The apartments consist of a bedroom with twin beds (I don't think you can get double rooms), a clean bathroom with shower and bath, and a kitchen/lounge with ...
