ive just purchased a bsa hornet multishot rifle in carbine form and put about 100 pellets through it first thoughts are its well balanced and accuracy is excellent i can hit drawing pin heads consistently at 35 metres which is probably my limit for hunting rabbits and all other prey ,i put a logun qgs silencer on and its whisper quiet my only draw back is the cocking system you really need a good squeeze to push it in but apart from that its a slick action ,il give more thoughts when ive put it properly through its paces on my next hunting trip, the overall look of the rifle is great ,the chequering is good and polished beech looks nice ive put an ags vipir 6-16x50 ir scope on and its a bit over 11 lbs so not the lightest rifle but it suits me ,

Have had my Hornet for over a year now, and must have bagged hundreds of bunnies. Took 4 shots to zero, and the rest is history. All precharged rifle offer similar performance, but with its 232bar capacity you get a lot more shots than say a Air Arm S410. With the sights and light laser combo it weighs in at 11lb, but hey are we all men or wimps. Long kill shot was 75yds on a bi-pod with perhaps a bit of luck. I am a very happy Bunnie basher and the Hornet suits me just fine. If we where all of ...

I bought my Hornet when the model was first introduced in 2003 and I have been very pleased with it so far. I have only had one problem with it, it lost power after around 2000 shots. It had to be sent back to BSA for a new regulator but this was not expensive and it has been very reliable ever since. I use it for hunting pretty much anything and I still think that it is the best gun on the market for hunters. I have the .22 multishot version and I know that it can drop crows, pheasants, partrid ...

The model is BSA Hornet K Multishot .22, the scope is a Hawke 3-9x50 ir Nite-eye, and the cost was £400 S/Hand. Having had many springers in the past 30 years, I thought it was high time to embrace new technology and buy a PCP. So after reading many reviews and opinions and plaguing the life out of my local gun dealer, trying most of his stock of PCPs, eventually I decided on a BSA Hornet Multishot carbine. It was the furthest thing from my mind when I initially started looking. I didn`t ...

After sampling a variety of PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) air rifles, I came to the BSA Hornet Multi-shot.

The loading action is completely original, and at first appears to be unnecessarily complicated, but after firing off the first magazine its true brilliance is seen. To operate the action a side button is pressed releasing the 'bolt' back and revolving the magazine. After this, the 'bolt' is pushed back in, loading a pellet into the chamber. Finally, a 'plunger' is pressed at the end of th ...

Bought this BSA Hornet Multishot 1st June and could not happier with it. 4 shots to get a zero on the sights, 5th shot was a bunny at 35 yards. amazing gun, and so easy to use once you have sussed out the cocking of it. Once that is sorted its just ace. I have a BSA lightning which is a fab gun for hunting,BUT the Hornet is SOOOOOO quite you can pick off a few rabbits and not spoke them half as much. I thin i will stay with BSA now as all there guns seem to suit me just fine. The hornet is jus ...

I love the BSA Hornet Multishot. As soon as the multishot version came along, I ordered one. The bigger gap between the barrel and the air reservoir, and the magazine housing, set it apart from the conventional Hornet and gives it that special look. (Well it does it for me anyway!).

The build and engineering quality are immediately apparent. This rifle is built to last a lifetime.

I was initially disappointed with the rifles performance, and sent it back to BSA through my local dealer. ...
