Been to yannis and linda apartments over the past 5 years.Their sevice is fantastic you become part of the family.Hygiene standards are the best the food is great need to watch your waist line or even burn off those extra cals in the pool.The surrounding garden full of sented flowers well looked after.Great for families as they have a small play area.Its just a small stroll to the beach 15 mins greek walking and when you get there fantastic views. Our week here was just fantastic, our family had a wonderful time. Most of the time was spent by the pool which was never busy even though it was August, the children in our group often had the pool to themselves. The complex itself was beautifully maintained and the flowers brought so much colour which many other places lack. The food was delicious and not expensive, served hot and all at the same time even when the taverna was busy.People would come from other resorts to eat here as well... (read more)

I've been to Bougainvillea for the last 10 years and I have never had a more perfect holiday. The owners are 2 of the friendliest people you could ever meet and they do everything in their power to make your holiday perfect. The apartments are in the ideal location if you like a relaxing holiday but would like the shopping and night-life of a bigger resort as Laganas is a stone throw away. No words could do this hotel justice and I hope to go back soon. Thanks you (read more)

This is a beautiful place to spend a relaxing holiday. We have stayed here for many wonderful holidays and were always made to feel most welcome. The staff work extremely hard and nothing was to much trouble for them. They even organised my sisters wedding in Agios Sostis for her and we had a fantastic day everything was just perfect. Great accommodation in a beautiful setting. Serve best food in the resort. (read more)

When we first arrived at approximately 10.30pm we were ferried into the Bougainvillea taverna and told to take a seat. After about 45 minutes (with no drink offered to us or anything) Yiannis, the owner greeted us and explained his 'Ground Rules' and took our passports. We then finally got to go to our room. It was very basic and clean. There was a normal wooden door seperating us from the next door apartment and you could hear EVERYTHING!! I presume he would open this up for larger... (read more)

The Bougainvillea apartments and complex are beautiful and the owners were wonderful. Yianni was always very friendly and only seemed to want the best for his guests. He and Lynda worked very hard and kept the complex to a very high standard. The food in the restaurant was the best in the resort - and we tried quite a few others. I am very surprised by the experience of the previous reviewer as ours was completely the opposite. I can only think that they caught Yianni on a VERY bad day! ... (read more)

The best food in agios sostis can only be found in the ole ole bar. the owner yiannis is really a very bad man, he is only friendly if you give all your money to him.

Our experience on the first day at Bourgainvillea was so appalling that we had to move the next morning. We were greeted my the owner and we were the only ones checking in at that time. We asked when our rooms would be ready (this was about 1pm) and we were told 10 minutes. Then another 10 minutes. We were told they were ready and followed the owner up to the rooms. if you was by yiannis you have seen the big villa behind the appartements. this was my house. yannis and linda is the badest family in agios sostis. we know him very good, because we was 8 years in agios sostis, but we never go in the pool area from him

We've just returned from another two wonderful weeks at Bougainvillea with Yiannis and Lynda. I think this reviewer's experience was a one off and shouldn't put off anyone thinking of going here. The accommodation has been upgraded with air conditioning in all rooms and the food was as excellent as always!

The bougainvillea is a lovely place, the owners are absolutely lovely people! Never had a problem! The waiter is a funny guy, we all got on very well to be honest. The apartments are spotless! The pool is amazing. I don't have a single complaint to make, I really enjoyed my stay there, the food was excellent, all in all its and excellent place to stay because as I said before they are absolutely lovely people and it is kept to a high standard which you don't see everywhere and I never ever once heard the owner raise his voice in the slightest and I would definitely stay there again.

i hated it when we got to bougainvillea, yannis told us we were not booked in to stay at his hotel we were alL tired grumpy and we all just wanted to rest. he gave us a small room in the cellar until there was a room free we spent a whole week in it, i was fed up i was grumpy with every one and, i had a waiter called elvis after me the whole time. i realy wasn't interested, he still rings me today. we finally got put in 1st class accommadation seeing as we couldn't get any other room. it was ok, we had a tornado hit us and go right past us which frightened me so much, but the foo,d the staff and his lack of work was terrible. i hope you read this soon and do something about it!
