I went there for tint and at first the salon decoration is amazing... it was a saturday and i could see that everybody was busy...

My color wasn`t really nice since i was suppose to be with it for 30 min and end up somehow been forgotten for nearly 50 min... the result was much darker them waht i wanted...

I have been a client since Taylor Taylor first opened its doors in Cheshire Street. Three different personalities, but always a lovely experience. As long as I am able to I will be using Taylor Taylor. I always leave feeling happy.

I had read some bad reviews as well as some good ones so I booked these appointments with an open mind. I had decided to have my hair cut and my friend a blow dry. I was advised, when booking by telephone, of suitable stylists for what we wanted. I was booked in with Art Director, Johnny. He was charming and friendly and I feel that I got the best cut I'd ever had. The attention we received and the drinks were excellent and I would certainly go back!!

This is the kind of place where you're supposed to be so cool that you don't mind waiting 45 minutes for your stylist to show up. I complained in a pleasant manner after half an hour, to be told with a smile and a shrug that my stylist was 'always late'. When they realised I wasn't that happy, they said they'd give me a discount. But when I eventually paid the 'discount' was just '£6 on a '£140 hair cut (and colour). Not quite what I had in mind.

I just had the most wonderful hair straightening experience at with Shinobu at Taylor Taylor on Cheshire Street. I had a bad experience with the straightening elsewhere a few months ago, and Shinobu worked with me to customize the Japanese ionic process to my exact needs and hair ... even though she'd never really done that before. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and feel confident about my looks in a way I haven't since last August, before the "bad" straightening. Highly recommend Shi ...

Quite friendly staff, and I liked the way the salon was decorated and the atmosphere. They didn't try to force me to buy products... However I paid nearly £100 for a full head of highlights and my hair didn't look any different afterwards - no one could notice any change in the colour at all, so a total waste of money. Also having my hair washed I had my head pulled back at a really uncomfortable angle, it felt like my neck was going to seize up and my head was going to get stuck in that ...

I will never go back to Taylor Taylor hairdressers in view of the above, and I have cancelled a follow on appointment.

My hair looked a mess within a day.

I will be trying somewhere else.

I had been going to Taylor Taylor in London for over a year, for both cuts and eyelash and brow treatments, and I was always happy and grateful I'd found the perfect salon. Then I had several disappointments having had my appointments deleted out of their system, only to be offered a new time... where I will have to take additional time off work. Then when I called, the staff were always so friendly on the phone, but they failed to call me back to make the new appointment. I am left to call bac ...

I was very impressed with Taylor Taylor hairdressers in London. Expecting the salon to be expensive and over-rated, it was neither! They were open on Sunday, and that suited me down to a t - my stylist knew his stuff, and told me how it was with my hair and the style, and I liked him for his honesty.

He also knew how to prop up my fragile ego, but that's another story.

Now my hair is thick again after the treatment I had done. It is full of life, has style and isn't dry.

    Taylor Taylo ...

I have had several good cuts from Taylor Taylor hairdressers in London. They have improved as they have got to know me and my hair. The colour is excellent, and a good price for London. There is no hard sell of products (which I hate - Charles Worthington are particularly bad for this). The salon is very 'young' and relaxed - and sometimes you can come out feeling rather frazzled because everything is a bit hectic. However, if you can put up with this (have a drink and enjoy the chaos!), the exp ...

I thought I would be leaving the salon with a great haircut that gave me style, but I left looking like a chicken. I wanted long and messy, but the stylist (a director) just started cutting it until it was short and choppy. There's nothing more annoying that a bad hair cut. She really didn't listen what I wanted, and the £39 I paid was the most ridiculous part of all. I really don't blame the Taylor Taylor salon, because maybe the other stylists really listen to the customer. So the only t ...

I left the salon with a terrible cut and colour, that were not what I asked for. The whole salon is completely disorganised and appointments run late. The management are impossible to get a hold of. My hair will take months to recover - in the meantime I'm sporting an absolutely hideous cut and colour. Taylor Taylor is not cheap either.

I came into The Taylor Taylor Hair Salon quite nervous as I have thick hair and I find that hair dressers really don't listen and know what to do with it and end up giving you a boring style or "the latest style". I paid £57 for an art director called Danny to cut my hair. He listened to my ideas, looked at my hair, and then explained a hairstyle that was going to suit me (thinned out, layers, fringe), and how it was going to be cut.

The end result was fantastic, after the fringe had ...

I rang Taylor Taylor hairdressers in London and explained that I was very nervous about going to a new hairdresser. I was told I had been booked in with the top stylist they had, an Art Director who would cost £57.00. On the day, I asked to go blonder and have a fringe cut in. The colourist dyed my hair darker without telling me, and the stylist told me a fringe was not this season "darling" and I should have flicks. My hair cut was dreadful! My layers looked like they had just been hacke ...

I Found Taylor Taylor hairdressers on the web. I read the great reviews, and I was a little unsure, as it was not a West End hairdresser, but as I arrived I was met with a smile form every staff member. It really has an unusual atmosphere for a salon that is this cool! My haircut is really the best hair cut I have ever had, and my colour is amazing. I even had my nails done there too!

It really is the best hairdresser I have ever been to, and I will be going there for ever.

I found the Taylor & Taylor hairdressers website through Google, and travelled from Brighton for a day in London with a friend. She was booked in with an Art Director, and I was booked in with a top stylist. There was a little wait as the salon was very busy. which was quite surprising as it is on a tiny street near Brick Lane. We both left with gorgeous hair after visiting this gem of a salon!

Firstly, I should say that I had a decent, but not great, cut and good colour at the Taylor Taylor hairdressers in London. However, it was not a particularly relaxing or enjoyable experience.

The salon is small, and on a Saturday it is busy and very chaotic. The music veered between non-existent to incredibly loud. The stylist was friendly, but the hair wash by the assistant was near unbearable - I thought I was being scalped! I felt shunted around, and I was asked to sit on an uncomfortable ...

Taylor Taylor salon is very casual and very lively. It was a bit difficult to find, I missed twice, since it does not look like a salon. Door is like normal house door. But I enjoyed that casual atmosphere and the skill of the hair dresser, Anthony. He was quiet but listened well. Other people looked quite happy too. I recommend this salon and I definitely will visit again, which is quite a rare thing for me.

I have just got home after having the best hair cut ever from Anthony (art director Taylor Taylor- £57). Booked with him after reading in Glamour magazine that he had done the hair at the Marc Jacobs shows. Very good customer service- he listened to all my crazy/ confused comments about my hair- made suggestions and really explained what he was going to do so I understood totally before he started. But was in no way condesending like some hairdressers can often be. Gave me advice on st ...

Not sure If I should give a good review for Taylor Taylor, as then I know I will struggle to get a appointment. But on 7 Jan, had one of the best haircuts that I can remember. Anthony (Art Director) was a star, from start to finish. Have had so many compliments. Thank you
