This is a great slingshot. Quite accurate, and with a bit of practice it is just as good as my trusty Daisy BB-Gun at keeping the kids out of my apple trees.

Very comfortable grip-good forks, wide brace that is far easier on one's arm than the all metal loop style braces. Accurate and the ones with the red bands are easy pull and fairly fast. One of the biggest mistakes some makers make is trying to put too high powered a band on the device. This sling is plenty powerful, I have killed tough cock pheasants with it using .40 caliber musket balls.

They are inexpensive and well made. I have dozens of slingshots that I let my archery students use and ...

The Marksman 3040 is very comfortable and easily folded, yet a stable slingshot. The crotch is too narrow, however, so the bands often interfere with a shot as it passes through, causing wild rounds. This can be fixed by spreading the arms to 4-1/4" center-to-center with a pair of pliers.

The Marksman 3040 Slingshot can shoot really far. I was shooting the feild goal post with it. I even set up targets in the trees and was shooting them easily - with this slingshot you have good accuracy.

The Marksman 3040 is very comfortable and provides a great grip because of the contouring. The band started to rip after 5 days of use, the company that I bought this from gave me a replacement band and that has been working for over a month now, so may be the first band was defective. The wrist support locks are two bumps that extend from the handle, when you push the wrist support over them it is locked in place, the bumps get smaller and smaller from friction and the lock get less steady and ...
