Good Points: Amazing sound quality, solid construction.
Bad Points: No phono - line only, No remote control.
General comments: This Cyrus Straight Line audio amplifier makes music - bass is very fast & tight while going deep, detail resolution is fantastic & midrange & treble are so sweet. Nothing is overblown or distorted - it just sounds musical. I upgraded from a Marantz PM44SE which by comparison sounded cold light & harsh at times. The lack of a remote can be inconvenient as is the inability to play vinyl, but if no thrills pure sound is paramount this little baby does the trick admirably. I'm now Bi-amping my Mission speakers with the SL driving the low frequency units & a Cyrus Power driving the high frequency units - sounds just incredible! Highly recommended.
