I have owned a Yamaha CDX870 cd player for about 2 yrs - sold it & then a year later bought one second hand as I couldn't find anything with quite the same sound. The stereo separation is perfect, bass is deep & fast yet remains very warm & lush. Midrange is again warm & rich - rather than cold & thin. The treble is beautiful - if not out & out thrills.
