Good Points: None I can think of.
Bad Points: I felt that the customer service was not up to standards , the phone went down within a few weeks of purchasing. Customer service has been giving the same line for almost 3 months that they are sending out a mailer for the phone and will replace it. Still waiting for the mailer although every week a call is placed to customer service and the same line is given. I would recommend that if you are looking for a wireless company, skip past fido
General comments: They are lacking in the customer service end, they do not live up to what they tell you over the phone.

The signal is wonderful and the price is right. I don't have it anymore though because I forgot where I put the bill.- Read bbenmeyer's review (26 words)

Signal coverage is so weak. I live in a basement that its windows is very wide toward the street. I stand beside the window and phone not able to call or accept calls
I disable the voice message to avoid telemarketing calls. But every often I get text that I have voice messages. I know that those message are from telemarketers.- Read 1334's review (63 words)

Fido/Microcell offer Extremely poor coverage (or none) in major US centres including NYC, Phoenix, Chicago, the entire state of Ohio, Charleston, Portland, and on and on. Dropped calls all over the place.
Not only is coverage terrible, you MUST disable auto-selection of the roaming network or it just continually drops calls.
Erratic voicemail. When in the US and someone calls your number, about 50% of the time, rather than getting your voicemail they get a French message asking the cal ...- Read neverfido's review (391 words)

I recently deactivated my cell phone service with Fido in the Toronto area due to poor area coverage. This company proposed that I can still keep the phone number for emergency use for 6 months without any charge, except only if I make phone call, then I would be charged by the minute. I called them back a few days later to tell them that I just wanted to deactivate the service because I don't have any need for their service. I was told that they will deactivate the service in 30 days, and I sti ...- Read Trai Nguyen's review (107 words)

I have been a Fido customer for years and I now find I am so frustrated with the service I am receiving. I had signed up to a voice message and received it for years and then to my surprise I was asked the other day by one of my staff why I don't have a message - I tried ringing up my number and it just rang. My greeting message was still on and when I phoned Fido I was told that I did not have the voice message since July 2004.- Read Rita Silveira's review (108 words and 1 comment)

Ii have been with Fido for about 4 years now. I was with Rogers before that and I can say for a fact that Fido is much better. Their rates are cheaper both locally and internationally, compared to the others in Canada (Rogers, Telus, Bell).
Fido Bills by the second which instantly saves you more money relative to the others that bill by the minute. Fido is reliable and they do their best to satisfy their customers. They do give a damn!!! I would recommend FIDO to any and everyone. We need ...- Read pat23's review (126 words)
