I had a dispute about a charge and wrote two letters complaining to Virgin Media only to receive identical responses both times. I did try and phone them to pursue the issue further, but the call centre gave no option for a complaints department. When I spoke to their technical support to try and find out how to contact their complaints department I was told that they no longer deal with complaints over the phone or via e-mail. “Broken down broadband”

We are with Virgin Broadband in the middle of a total breakdown off the whole area now lasting 4 days!!!!!!!! Phoning on this subject is completely useless after going round the phone in circles for 20 minutes the barely comprehensible operator has no clue what is going on or even how to explain and reassure it will get fixed. After being tied to this shockingly bad ISP for years they have had the cheek to transfer our custom to talk talk like it is up to them. Would have left years ago if they did not tie you into a new yearly contract every time you changed your details. “should have got 100mg only got 0.08mg my mobile was faster”

“Is Money more important than Reputation???”

November 2004 we took out a Virgin Big Bang contract for a rented property which we were told was on a long term let. After 4 months we have been informed that our Landlord is coming back into the country and therefore the property cannot now be a long term let, although we can stay here for the next couple of months. “The service is getting worse and worse”

Ever since i got offered to upgrade to 50mb/s and switch to some sh!!tty machine namely "superhub" or sh!ttyhub, my net is being unstable on DAILY BASIS while is unacceptable to me. I highly recommend not to upgrade anything and don't bother considering switching to virgin. It sucks so hard. And yea, i am writing this review when the broadband is down again. “A Comuncations company that has no communications”

Having being a customer of Virgin since the heady days of Telewest I was always a champion for them. Fastest service by miles and always 5 or 6 times faster than the competition, largely due to the fact they do not suffer the restrictions of a BT line and can pipe all that internet goodness into your house. “Extremely poor customer service”

I naively got myself a virgin webmail address when I first got myself a computer...20 years ago. Eventually I went wireless and the service was so so slow. “Terrible service”

We joined Virgin at the end of September. Their broadband is totally unreliable, we lose signal every day, sometimes several times a day for no apparent reason. Customer service is appalling. Staff are unfriendly and unhelpful - they have finally admitted, after several frustrating calls that the problem does not lie with our hub, but something else. Avoid Virgin Media at all cost! Absolutely rubbish quality of service, totally unreliable. I lose connection to internet dozens time a time. “YouTube unusable and many other services are degraded. ”

YouTube is unusable. Buffers always even at lowest quality settings. Service is VERY bad. My connection is fine but the network at the other end is configured only to save them money. No point in having high connection speeds if you can 't connect to the internet outside of the virgin media network at any sort of speed.
