“Terrible service”

We joined Virgin at the end of September. Their broadband is totally unreliable, we lose signal every day, sometimes several times a day for no apparent reason. Customer service is appalling. Staff are unfriendly and unhelpful - they have finally admitted, after several frustrating calls that the problem does not lie with our hub, but something else. Avoid Virgin Media at all cost! Absolutely rubbish quality of service, totally unreliable. I lose connection to internet dozens time a time. Several times a week there is no internet for no obvious reasons, I have to stop work and wait till I get it back (apparently no point in calling them - just a waste of money on telephone calls). The paperwork / agreement I received was incorrect, when I got the time to check it and got back to them to find out why the paperwork I received shows figures that I have not been informed of. The staff said "Oh that's alright you'll see the right amount when you receive your bill. “YouTube unusable and many other services are degraded. ”

YouTube is unusable. Buffers always even at lowest quality settings. Service is VERY bad. My connection is fine but the network at the other end is configured only to save them money. No point in having high connection speeds if you can 't connect to the internet outside of the virgin media network at any sort of speed. Exchanged over to virgin from O2 broadband about 1.5 years ago now. Have rarely had any dropping connections, and when there have been its my end, or routine maintenance on virgins part (cant complain about a company performing maintenance and upgrades!). Have paid for 30mb broadband and usually reach 30mb. Times that I don't are the busy periods where I get maybe 20mb. Even then, it's not that common, and 20mb is still plenty fast enough. Ok so our direct debit didn't clear in the first place, but phone to make a payment of the outstanding money by card and THEY TOOK THE NEXT MONTHS PAYMENT AS WELL, WHICH WAS NOT AGREED!
