    Technically speaking (until I came to use my land line for calls that is) the broadband connection was fine. It was only when I came to get the fault on my line rectified which was narrowed down to a fault with the Tiscali equipment in the local exchange.
    After that the 'service' that I received was utterly appalling and 6 months on I am still unable to cancel my account.
    I only wish I had listened to the countless individuals that warned me away from Tiscali.

    Would work better if the customer service was in the UK or at least the people on the end of the emails could understand English.

    Example~

    Dear customer service etc etc
    .....'Tried paying the invoices online. For some reason the system will not accept my credit card details......

    Reply:
    .....Thank you for contacting Tiscali Customer Support.

    Our records show that the current balance on your account is £29.34 as for your May and June invoice.

    Kindly settle the said amount and reinstate ...

    I have been with Tiscali Broadband for around 5 years. Had a period of around 3 months very poor connection speeds but that was when i upgraded to 8mb from 2 mb. Went back to 2mb and now get consistent 2.5Mb connection.
    ONE BIG NOTE: Since Tiscali has been bought out by CPW (talk Talk) my connection keeps dropping each night and router needs a reset each morning, coincidence? i dont think so. I will be moving to O2 broadband shortly as i know Talk talk service is even worse and dont wan ...

    reading all the recent postings here, i can only agree. tiscali broadband is just a waste of time. i have had endless connection problems which come and then misteriously go again. i wonder if their IT dept has a clue? have decided to go to one of the smaller, more customer service oriented providers - let my feet do the talking = and suggest you all do the same. regards.

    It seems most mornings I am unable to connect, Tiscali Broadband stated its is a fault with the exchange, however my neighbors with BT don't seem to have this problem. I also never get call backs to see if the fault has been resolved.The billing is shocking and customer care non existent.

    Been with tiscali for 3 years but after being off line for a week and having no promise of a refund of payment for a service I did not get I'm off to another server, Wanted my mac code lol it took 2 days and me getting really mad and shouting ...which I never do ..to get it they told me it would take a week to come through .... 30mins after my last call it arrived by text lol

    Tiscali Broadband charged us for 8 months of service without providing any broadband! They just blamed BT for the landline connection and refused to give us a refund.

    I have been with tiscali for 12 months with hardly any problems at all. I have had to ring the help line twice and they have always helped to sort out the problem.
    I have recommended people to tiscali and they like it to.
    Tiscali has been far better than most ISP.

    We have been with Tiscali for a while now, but recently the modem kept crashing and we had to unplug it and then replug it in, which was very annoying. We then decided to buy a ethernet modem, which is working, but it keeps on disabling itself, and I also have to reset the log as microsoft office outlook keeps on going funny and swiching it self off. We have just placed an order with BT and hopefully they will be better. Only use Tiscali if you don't want 24/7 customer service, a slow speed,and ...

    The alleged Customer Service is non-existant - You have to ring - write - fight - scream at another person before any problem you have with their accounting (charging for items not for you). All this causes you time and money to rectify Tiscali mistakes - They just do not listen or understand, because according "The Screen" they (tiscali) are correct and you are wrong!!!!! - AAAAAGGGHHHH!!!!!

    I have been tiscali for a few years now. i agree with the rest that teh customer services is terrible and non-existence. the connection is only ever adequate and frequently disconnect. for the last few months, these problems have got worst. web pages do not refreshed or when they do, the connection just dropped or can not find the pages. this is most annoying. we have a broadland package and yet we are gievn a dail-up connection. you can not get through to customer services and if you do a ...

    I am unable to get wireless due to my laptop being Windows Vista Basic.
    I have tried to get Tiscali to give me some help with negotive response and I am seriously now thinking about changing servers and getting the customer service I pay for.

    Tiscali Broadband are and absolute nightmare of a company to deal with. Connection was pretty good at first but for a few months has been useless and major downtimes. Customer support is pretty poor and dealing with them is a pain. They will block your line so MAC codes are no good or even refuse to send them if there is a dispute.     I have had nothing but trouble since i stared with tiscali broadband and the customer service is non existent i have been cut off with no warning then left with no way to contact them expect the pay phone which is really expensive as they keep you on hold for at least half an hour then when you do get through to someone you have to repeat yourself as they cannot understand a word you are saying as english isnt there first language.

    Tiscali Broadband the most unreliable service in the world, with the WORSE customer service ever. I seriously would not recommend it to anybody.

    Adequate internet service. Tiscali Broadband ideal for occasional browsing - but not for P2P users. Go out and spend the money you save on CDs.

    Personally I've had very few issues with my tiscali 8mb broadband, I have p2p running 24/7 which easily accounts for a good 30+gigs of bandwidth per month, I'll often be playing online games or watching streaming videos at the same time.In the past I've managed to play multiboxed World of warcaft with 4 accounts simultaneously with very little latency to show for it.Customer services rang me once shortly after I first set up offering me some other products, I told them to never ring me again an ...
