I used http://www.mobinsureuk.2u.co.uk for my insurance comparisons. Because of that I signed up and saved myself a lot of money. In the shop they told me I had to spend £14.99 a month for my iPhone insurance. On here I managed to get that price down to £5.99. What's more I made a claim and they replaced the handset quickly and without any fuss. (read more)

This is the best comparison of mobile phone insurance that I have found on the net. It was useful to have all the information about the different insurance policies in one place. I understand they have people who look through all the policies every week so that the comparison is always up to date. Not found anything as good except reviewcentre.com of course! (read more)

I saved far more than the normal cost of repair or getting a new phone. Dead easy to understand. When I claimed I got a new phone in 48 hours like they promised (read more)

I have now cancelled my mobile phone insurance policy with 2U because I enquired about the upgrade from them in May, and I was told it would be processed in September with my renewal. Now I have called back, I have been told to wait another 8 months.
I would recommend looking into websites that offer lower monthly premiums, as that will be a better reward than something for 'free'.
At least be very careful when trying to get anything from 2U.

I used one of 2U Mobile Phone Insurance's sub-sites (www.betterdeals.2u.co.uk) as it had a direct link for the insurance. The site was a little busy. There were lots of other things of interest on the site. I even got my PDA covered too, as you can never be too careful. (read more)

Too right. You do have to shop around for mobile phone insurance.

The cover that 2U give you is far better than most though.

A lot of firms don't give you accidental damage.
Cheaper doesn't always mean better...

There aren't many places to go for mobile phone insurance, and the phone providers seem to rip you off. 2U's product seems OK, but the delivery is a bit poor, and whatever you do, don't buy a screensaver from them - you'll get spammed forever. (read more)

2U do not mail to any ringtones/screensaver customers at all, so it looks like this previous commenting person is slightly mistaken. We do not and have not ever sent numerous unsolicited messages, whether by text or email, to existing customers.

This is the most Fully Comprehensive Mobile Phone cover to date. I did a lot of research and found www.mobyinsure.2u.co.uk to be the best for me.
Before signing up, I compared them to Carphone Warehouse, the Link, endsleigh, etc but they were either too expensive or didn't cover enough circumstances.
Mobyinsure does the lot. I Just clicked on their website and saw what they had to offer. You might save some money like I did!

Another Insurance site that proclaims: "Why pay up to £1,000 to replace your phone", when most people realise that most phones sold cost up to £100 or between £100 and £200 (with a small proportion over £200)? How many cost £1000 (they don't tell you of course!). Sounds like another Insurance Company raking in the business with monthly premiums of up to £10 per month; thats £120 each and every year!). Does that make sense? Why are premiums so extortionately high? It's sounds similar to the pressurised selling of Warranties for TVs, washing machines etc. Shop around!
