Had my phone stolen, went straight into the store, blocked the old phone and walked out with a new one... All in all was a 2 hour turn around, and they even managed to restore my contacts and photos! Fantastic service and worth every penny :)

I recently dropped my one month old iPhone 6 in my dog's water bowl. Obviously it was broken beyond repair. I took my phone to Carphone Warehouse the same day and my claim was approved on the spot. They then ordered a brand new replacement, which was delivered 2 days later (I reported it broken after 5pm so not within the next working day replacement time scale). I could not be more thankful, the staff were so helpful and luckily I have only had to be without my phone for 2 days. I had to pay £60 excess, in addition to my £14.99 monthly premiums, but it is so worth it when it would have cost over £600 to replace without insurance. I've heard so may bad things about Geek Squad insurance but I'm glad I didn't listen to it. I really think it depends on the particular shop and how helpful the staff are.

Not buying a phone case finally came back to haunt me as I had dropped my phone and smashed the screen. I took it into the Geek Squad at Carphone Warehouse the next day, they approved my claim on the spot and rather than repairing the phone, I received a brand new replacemnent phone. On top of this, they even discounted the excess I had to pay. Incredible and easy service, very courteous employees and justifies what I initially thought was a high premium.

Honestly dont understand why Geek Squad are being given such a roasting, as long as you follow the right procedures in claiming you should never have a problem. I have made 4 claims on my HTC 8X in the past year (2 more claims than the bank will let you make per year) and the longest ive had to wait for a replacement is 3 days. Always received brilliant service and i will be continuing to insure all my future phones with the Geek Squad

I am so happy with Geek Squad Insurance! I had my handset stolen and called geek squad who checked my policy and a new handset was sent out same day received next day! Obviously I had to pay £60 excess. Great service, very happy customer. I would recommend them to friends and family who are thinking about taking out mobile phone insurance.

Read some of the reviews and tbh they all sound unluckily! All I've had is good thing Los with GeekSquad! Can't complain! Everytime I've rang or had to make a claim never had trouble! Very friendly agents on the phones! Best insurance for a phone or gadget on the market by far! Banks and homes rip you off and since geek squad have carphone warehouse has partners you can go into any shop and get as much help as you need! Amazing!!! Most of my family and friends are with geek squad and they haven't had any problems either. Amazing service and amazing protection! Thank you Geek Squad, I'm never worrying about my phone when I know it's so easy to claim and get tech support!

My nexus 4 was stolen on the Saturday mid afternoon. On phone to police then insurance the next day and claim was accepted within 1 hour. Went to nearest car phone warehouse that day paid my excess and was handed a brand new phone right there and then. Amazing. Less than 24 hours since incident and was replaced. Was gob smacked at the ease of service. Can't say much more than this.

Buying an iphone 5 i knew the insurance would be expensive, but £14.99/month isnt bad, especially because iphones can smash and are likely to get stolen. I had my iphone stolen last night and carphone warehouse were so good at dealing with it. the website had a step by step guide on what to do with a stolen phone, all very clear. once id contacted o2 and the police i went to the store where i was put on the phone to a very helpful advisor on the insurance claims who asked a few questions about the theft then processed my claim. the call was about 40 mins but it put me at ease knowing something was being done about it. The claim was hassle free, straight forward, and considering my phone is my life they made me feel so much better to know that ill be getting my new phone next working day. would really recommend them. there were no catches and i knew i was covered because the policy comes in a booklet with all the info in- really useful.

I recently lost my iphone 5 after not even having it for a month . i was still in my first months insurance 2 weeks to be precise . I lost it while picking my son up from nursury walked throught the park and realised it was gone out of my pocket . i had a look for it but having my son he wanted ot go home so couldnt stay out too long . i arrived home rung them up they put me through to my network provider to cancel it rung the police for a loss number . then rung geek squad . the lady i spoke to was really friendly helpful and made me laugh (cheered me up a bit after just loosing a £600 Iphone5) she then booked me as appointment for a call back the earliest they could get me in was a saturday this was thursday when i called , on friday i recieved a call at work saying my claim was accepted and a new phone will be with me the next day (with it being a saturday it will be monday) i originally understood the excess to be £60 but they only charged mne £45 . it is now saturday afternoon and i will recieve my phone on monday . i read some review on this insurance company and all had a bad rating . but my experience was fantastic i havent even paid my first insurance bill as my first month was free!

Ive had my Samsung Galaxy S3 since July and being incredibly clumsy I decided it'd be worth me getting the insurance! Sure enough about 2 weeks ago I dropped it in the bathroom when it bounced off the sink and then down to the floor and the result being the top half of the screen was in bits. I took it into the carphone warehouse last week and was very impressed with the service by Geek squad! this was a surprise as I've read alot of reviews that made me doubt a successful outcome. But much to my surprise rather than 'long repair periods' I've been told about of around 6 weeks I was told I'd be getting a replacement handset!! Yes I had to wait 2 days for that to arrive but still I think that is superb service!! The one downside was paying a £50 excess but oh well- Id rather that than having to buy another one at its full cost! So I will be keeping my insurance with geek squad and will recommend as their service has been excellent!!!

I HAD LOST MY PHONE ON 27 JULY AT STRATFORD CENTER I WAS THERE FOR WATCHING OLYMPICS CEREMONY AND TAKING MOVIE THEN BATTERY GOES TO 10 PERCENT AND I STOP THE MOVIE AND PUT IT ON MY POCKET AND MOVE TO STRATFORD PARK THEN AFTER REACHING PARK SECURITY CHECK I REALIZE THAT MY MOBILE HAS BEEN LOSTED OR STOLEN AND THEN I WENT TO LOST AND FOUND DEPT THERE AND THE TOO MY NUMBER N I WAT THERE FOR AN HOUR AND CALLING LOSTED MOBILE NUMBER I WAS RINGING FORST AND THEN IT TURNED OFF AND THEN I CALL TMOBILE TO CLOSE SIM AND MOBILE AS WELL AND THEN MOVE TO POLICE STATION AND GET THE REFERENCE NUMBER AND VERY NEXT DAY I CALLED GEEK SQUAD AND THEY ASK ME SOME QUESTIONS AND AFTER TAKING 50 POUNDS FEES THEY SEND ME MOBILE AFTER TWO DAYS I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED GEEK SQUAD

So, on saturday I lost my phone. I phoned the police for a crime refence number and rang tmobile to cancel the sim. Then did an online insurance claim form. I started to read through some reveiws about the geek squad insurance and my heart sank. Page after page was filled with bad reveiws, people having their claims refused or having to wait weeks for replacements and rude customer service staff. So to be honest I wasn't expecting much. Sunday morning, and I still hadn't heard back. By sunday night I was seriously worried. But monday I had an email saying my claim had been accepted and to ring them! So I did, two hours later I'm in carphone warehouse picking up my new phone. Also, my excess was supposed to be £30 but because I'm with tmobile and u have to pay them £10 for a replacement sim it was only £20! Happy days! I'm still debating whether to cancel my policy thoug, and I definiteley wouldn't recommend gs insurance to a friend, because after reading all the reveiws it seems the majority of people are ripped off and I was one of the lucky ones.

hi im really shocked that they replaced ur phone my son lost his new phone only had it 3 weeks put in a claim for them to reject it. so i then put in an appeal and a complaint as carphone warehous told me that my insurance policy covered loss thats why i took it out .they av got me so angry gud enuf to take my money at the time grrrr .

I do not understand why so many people are complaining I lost my phone and they replaced it the next day with all of the accessories I had purchased via carphone I could not of expected more THANKS GEEK SQUAD WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!

iphone 4s, smashed my screen on my £500 4s, i was gutted. i went to my local store and did a claim, less than 5 minutes in the store. i had to pay my excess, which i guess i had to on any insurance and bam, new iphone4s the next day to my door ! awesome service, cheers geek squad & CPW ! =)

i took a contact and insurance on tuesday 20th november< lost my phone the following saturday made a claim on the sunday and got my phone on the wednesday they didnt interrogate with loads of questions just made the claim highly recommend

Took out a £2.99 policy when I bought my LG Cookie last September. I broke the screen on Sunday, took the phone into Carphone Warehouse on Monday and had my brand new phone delivered to me this morning (Tuesday)!

Bought a Nokia 3510i from them and it broke down after 9 months. Called into the Carphone Warehouse and they sent mine away and gave me a replacement phone for the time. (Although very rubbish) A new (ish) Nokia 3510i was returned to me in less than a week. The 3510i they gave me was in excellent condition. Although they generally give you phones that were used once and sent back so not exactly new but close enough.
