To read half of these reviews bearing in mind that many are from years ago. I was dreading the thought of sending my phone off all together, how wrong I could be. “What a nightmare and Apple cusomer services sorted it!!”

I got insurance for my son who's 13, smart move, one broken screen later. The problem, as it turns out was with 'find my iPhone and the cloud. I was told to turn off the function but not to delete it from the iCloud. After almost 3 hours, yes 3 hours on the phone listening to very unknowledgeable staff at O2 insure, not O2 but another company, I spoke to Apple Customer Services. “Wrong colour ”

I brought the pink s7 edge which I only had for two months it fell out of my gym bag and smashed I made an insurance claim though o2 I was told that they would send me a replacement phone which would be the same colour I was sent a black one which I hate I can't bear to use it it had dents and scratches all down the sides I don't want someone's second hand phone if I had known this is what I would get I wouldn't have made the claim I would have got it fixed myself if I had wanted a black phone… Read Full Review

Claimed my insurance and it took at least 3 trials to send my phone to wearhouse. Okay,let's say that's DPD's fault but insurance company send me the wrong colour phone and when I tried to sort it out they were lik "well, at least you have the phone!". I could not just continue with it. Made me cry over nothing. Such a big dissapointment.i always had a good O2 customer servise but as a first time insurance claimer it was horrific experience. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but I guess most people only leave a review if it's a bad one. Phone damaged on the Monday, they arranged DPD to pick it up on the Tuesday, email to say my claim had been accepted on the Wednesday, new phone was couriered to me on the Thursday. “O2 replacement phone doesnt work”

Took 5 days to receive my handset. They make you fill in form of how you lost it, then you have to register your phone as lost on a website as well as send i.d. The form has to be physically signed hence why it took 5 days. So i waited 5 days for a handset that doesnt work to then be told ive got to wait another 4 days to receive my new phone. “Worst service ever, don't use.”

Wow what can i say about this service i am abolutley amazed. My Sony Experia which i had only had for 2 weeks got knocked out of my hand at the train station and ended up on the floor. “Easier then i thought”

After drunkenly dropping my phone on a Saturday night, I phoned on the Sunday once my hangover had subsided. they took calls until the afternoon which was useful. Phone call was pain free and was told what to do, with an email backing it up. “They replace your phone with refurbished phones”

They Replaced my phone that had a broken screen with a refurbished phone that had an operating system issue. O2 took more than 10 days to deliver the first phone and now I will have to wait another 10 working days to wait for them to fix it although it was their fault! i claimed for a new phone as i lost my old one and still the insurance is telling me they have no phones in stock and dont know when they will be receiving any in stock.
its now been 7 days and still no phone... and still the insurance is telling me they have no phones of any type in stock.
this is an insurance that will take your monthly payments and your excess but will make it as hard as possible to claim a new phone.
DO NOT TAKE OUT 02 MOBILE INSURANCE!

Had my 6 plus for just over a year when screen became intermittently unresponsive with a grey flickering bar appearing at the top of the screen. Phoned O2 and started the claim process on Monday afternoon telling them my phone may have been subject to external pressure forces causing this problem. DPD picked phone up Tuesday. My phone broke contacted o2 insure they arranged for it to be collected by dpd and they failed to turn up 4days in a row and I had someone wait in all day for 4 days! Not even an email or phone call from o2 or dpd! Quite unbelievable! So the only thing I can fault is the fact that there courier DPD didn't turn up when they said they would ... But that's not really the insurance company's fault. They collected my phone on Monday, emailed me on Tuesday saying my claim had been expected and then 2 hours later advising I will receive a new phone tomorrow ...
