“Great Pool Experience!”

We have had nothing but a positive experience building our pool with Anthony & Sylvan. All stages of this project went smoothly, beginning with our salesman that helped design a pool perfect for our family, the scheduler who always kept us informed of our schedule (rain or shine we knew if soeone would be in our backyard) to our project manager who was always detail oriented and ready to answer any questions. My husband and I were prepared for hassle when we decided to build a pool and we did plenty of research and met with at least 5 other companies before deciding on Anthony and Sylvan. We decided that their history of being around as a national company would be the final factor plus they gave us a good price. “Outstanding Pool Design and Hastle Free Construction”

The Salesman, Tom, helped implement the perfect pool design for my home and then got the plans approved by the county quickly. The construction process was well coordinated, so any concerns I might have had were alleviated. The people most impressed with my pool are those that have one of their own, since they can truly appreciate the quality of the final product. I can't wait to open it up this season!!! (read more)

“Great Pool, Great People”

Our design consultant, Brian, came out to our house and talked to my wife and me for quite some time determining exactly what our likes and dislikes were as far as the design of the pool. He was very helpful and made several good recommendations. One of the really cool things was he brought a laptop with him and designed the pool right in front of us. We were able to alter the size, shape and color of the pool and see it with and without different features such as waterfalls, slides, spas... (read more)

“Our personal, private resort”

We researched pool suppliers,particularly looking for a company that had experience, capability and personnel to meet our requirements. Personnel attitude and interest in OUR needs was a top requirement. Anthony and Sylvan met our requirements,and in their follow-up policies,continue to meet our needs. “Very Please, and Learned Something ”

My wife shopped around for two years; thinking of what type of pool material to select, fiberglass, gunite, others, we settled on the traditional gunite. We visited the fiberglass factories; transportation cost of these large prefabs (tubs) takes approximately 11 percent of the total cost. “We absolutely love our pool!”

The entire process went smoothly and stayed on schedule from start to finish. We are completely satisfied with the end result as well. The workers were very careful to keep "messes" to a minimum and respect the rest of our property/yard. We also liked the way one step in the building process would not be covered up without the inspection and approval of the site supervisor. I was very impressed with each sub-contractor that Anthony and Sylvan used to construct the swimming pool. Every sub-contractor had years of relationship with Anthony Sylvan and there wasn't a single complaint expressed by any of them. All of the contractors were expert in their fields and easy to work with on the site. This is our second A&S pool. The first pool at our other house had all the fancy resort type features and everything was great. It was a salt pool and performed great. At the house we are in now we had a larger diving pool put in that had some eleavation chalanges. Anthony and Sylvan nailed it again. This pool is EXCATLY what we wanted . We decided to build a pool and our Anthony Sylvan sales person made recommendations to us regarding the financing. The salesman was one of the best salespeople I've ever dealt with. He made recommendations to us based on our needs. He is intuitive about what the client wants/needs. I did a lot of research before going with Anthony Sylvan. I did see some on-line comments about issues with the company but with a company this size, not every project will be perfect. I spoke with friends that used the "local pool company" and they almost all had some type of issue with their install. I ended up going with A&S and so glad we did. “renovation of entire pool”

work done on time, cleaned up nicely, the only negative was with the grass ion some area by the pump area,not behind it, as that was always poor, but on the left side as you look at the pump area, that could have been re-seeded...The pool itself looks like it is brand new. excellent job!!! “Fall Pool Closing”

The guys worked to make sure everything was done right. They had to come back and blow out the badu lines at a later date. Everything was done to our satisfaction. It's nice to know the badu is properly maintenanced since is is such an expensive piece of equipment. (read more)

Our family has wanted a pool for many years. When it was time to actually purchase the pool, we made sure to do our homework and really shop around for the best fit for our family. “Nightmare Experience”

I just cannot get over the fact that my electrical and well lines were cut and your company basically wouldn't take responsibility. Thank god for the valley energy guys coming out quickly to get my water flowing and water pump working in short order. However not without charging me almost 2000 dollars. I know better but it was almost as if it were the first pool ever installed by your company. The guys digging the hole also came so close to the gas lines. I was going to complain to... (read more)

We have had our pool for 2 years and still love it. We have the Ozone system and hardly have to do anything to the water the entire year! If I have had any issues the local dealer has responded very quickly. (read more)

Had to have the side of our house reprinted. They also messed up our existing concrete and had to repair it and they buried the electrical (which was marked) right through our septic lines which then had to be repaired!! Came without needed supplies which left workers sitting for hours doing nothing. Seemed a bit ridiculous to me. However, our pool is beautiful, exactly what I wanted so I am pleased. I had a personnal professional visit and plans drawn up for my unique pool design based on my desires which I got to pick out. Our pool representtative came out drew up several plans for us to review on the spot no waiting via electronics. We got our final drawings within 3-4 hours to submit to the home owners association and were approved within 3 days. We explained things that we wanted for the pool , after the conversation was completed and the explaination why we didn't need what we thought we needed, it made sense to go the route Slyvan suggested. Ron Sills and Mike Marcum were very helpful and always quick to respond when I had questions. Ron invested alot of time and attention to the pool design (and later redesigns) to help get the pool that we wanted. The initial drawings and the 3-D renderings really helped see the pool as it would look in the yard beforehand. Mike was always reliable and responded quickly to all my questions and issues. “Fast and easy!”

We had a fiberglass pool installed by [names removed] and we were impressed by how fast we were able to use our new pool! From the time the crew started digging to the time the pool was ready for use was three weeks (and it would have been even faster if the weather had cooperated !) I don't normally take the time to do this, but I spent hours researching pool companies. There is a ton of bad press out there and I nearly walked away from the idea of building a pool because of it. Our family had an Anthony Sylvan pool and separate spa ( the spa is outdoor and kept open year round)for 18 years. The original provided years of fun and family activity. Over time the the plaster started to show its age. Last year Anthony Sylvan came to refurbish both the pool and spa. The price was very reasonable. The work was expertly completed. Initially, I was less than pleased with the salesperson that I had purchased the pool from, but realized that I wouldn't see the salesperson again after signing the contract. From there on, I was extremely pleased with the PM (Josh) and the Indoctrination tech (Ron). “POOL RESURFACING”

The crew showed up on time and went right to work. The finished product was beautiful. I didn't care for the fact that they started draining the pool behind my garage which would have flooded me and my neighbors. I changed that idea in a hurry and we re-routed the water elsewhere so as not to harm anyone. We had a fantastic experience with Anthony & Sylvan pools. I went through a big analysis in selecting the right pool company. We down selected to A&S pools and a local boutique pool company. A&S won on price design and service. The pool was ready exactly when they said it would. The subcontractors for stone walls, patio and fence did a great job. Last we are glad we picked the big pool guys. We can trust they will be here to serve us for the life of the pool. Can't wait to open year two... (read more)

In 2012 we had an in-ground pool constructed at our home outside of Baltimore, MD. We did some research and shopping around and ultimately chose Anthony-Sylvan. Our decision was based on the following criteria: 1. Reputation/credibility from many past customers and research that we did. 2. Value and ability to fit into our budget while providing a quality and aesthetically pleasing pool. 3. “love the result”

Contract was for new coping, plaster and tile. Work was on time, and met expectations. Communication with ASP was effective. Salesman worked with me to give me a contract I could live with. Crews were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. Instructions to care for the new surface were clear although I did have a pool service balance the water chemistry.
