We spent a week at burnham on sea holiday park and we loved it! This was our second visit, and we booked again. The stie is a nice size, with a duck pond and nice indoor and out door pools. The entertainment in the evening was great and my 3 year old daughter loved the shows. The site shop is dear but the town of Burnham is only a 5 min walk from the park. I found all the staff and funstars were friendly and helpful.
There is a playground that my daughter enjoyed. It was clean and well maintained. The park was also kept clean.
The caravan was a superior plus, and was clean and well maintained. the beds where comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils that were clean.
We have visited 7 other haven sites and this is our favorite!
I would recomend going to the Tourist Information on the sea front if you want to go anywhere as they do discounted tickets to lots of attractions.
We are looking forward to our third visit next year!

My husband and I own a caravan at Burnham, we have ourselves in the past spent holidays in 5 star hotels, standard and luxury caravans and tents
with our daughters now 6 and 10 years old. We love the holiday park, staff are friendly and hard working but like all humans dislike stroppy holiday makers at busy times. You get what you pay for in life and if you wnat luxury you need to pay for it and Haven like other holiday companies are not cheap. There are no excuses for dirty caravans but lis ...- Read Guest's review (247 words)

We got back from Burnham on sea Haven just over week ago and normally I hate coming home but I was really looking forward to it! We went camping for 5 nights but came home a night earlier. We had a great pitch (so we first thought!) right opposite the toilet and shower block which meant that the kids could pop over and we didn't have to worry about them going too far. There were 4 showers and unless you go very early we had to queue and wait. They were cleaned I believe first thing in the morn ...- Read Guest's review (430 words)

I stayed at the Haven Park, Burnham between 27th July and 3rd August 2009, along with my adult daughter and four children ages 11, 12, 13 1nd 14. I had booked a 3 bed Superior caravan to sleep 8 as the age and sex of our party meant one adult had to sleep in the sitting room. When we tried to use the fold out bed in the sitting room it was late at night and proved to be broken. It took three complaints over three days befor it was fixed and in the mean time my daughter had to sleep on the cushi ...- Read Jenny Pentland's review (100 words)

Went to Burnham for the last week in June, weather was fabulous, very hot and Burnham is a nice town with lots of amenities and Explosion, one of the acts were very good, however, those are the only good points. On arrival at the park after checking in we went straight to the "Superior Plus" caravan with birds poop on the front door, not a good start. Got into caravan and grass on the floor, beds not made when they should have been, went to get linen - opened one of the packs of linen and they ...- Read Guest's review (226 words)

Have just spent a lovely 4 night break at this Haven site, Burnham On Sea. We found it very clean and tidy with teams actually picking up rubbish at 8.15am, we found plenty to do during the day and a relaxing treat in the early evening was to walk around the 2 fishing pools watching the canadian geese tend their babies or watch the woodpecker peck for worms or see the baby bunnies go diving for cover when they saw us. Our caravan was luxury itself and would have bought it if I already didn`t kno ...- Read burnette's review (614 words)

Haven Holidays, Burnham On Sea, has good space, layout and location. Went camping last year in May as a last minute decision because of the lovely weather. Paid less then £30 for 3 nights with electric hook up!
Had a brilliant time- got there and checked in straight away no hanging around. Got to our pitch to see the amount of space we had with space to park the car too! Excellent! So not over-crowded and we were really pleased.
Read from other reviews about a nearby Asda so thought we ...- Read Ceri Thomas's review (292 words)

The holiday park at Burnham On Sea was pleasant enough and the caravan was clean however there were some fundamental problems which would be so simple to fix, such as; no paths to caravans which meant the surrounding grass became a quagmire (particularly as some residents insisted on driving onto the grass) and the caravan floor quickly became covered in mud, very poorly equipped caravans and not enough cutlery & plates for the number of berths, no vacuum or mop only a broom, no heating whatseve ...- Read VintageChick's review (146 words)

Having spent a few enjoyable nights at haven Devon cliffs, I was disappointed with Burnham on sea. The caravan, a superior plus, was ok for summer, but in early winter the heating just couldn't keep up, and the draught coming through the windows made staying there very difficult - we left 3 days early. One of the biggest disappointments was the pool - Nothing to play on for our young kids, and when we needed to take one to the toilet we found the gents, ladies and disabled toilets all overflowing ...- Read Swordsman75's review (216 words)

Will not be going back again.
We ended up making dinner and lunch in our caravan, not wasting money on disgusting food!
Luckily we drove, so we could get out and about, disappointed with ALL 'beaches'. Most of them are just sinking mud.
Half our party left early as they were so annoyed and bored.

We have been to Burnham before, back in 2002 and it was fab then, I even wrote a letter to the park praising them up. HOWEVER THIS TIME, Was disappointing. There are loads more caravans, it has expanded a lot. On arrival of our PRESTIGE Caravan, the doors were not locked, on entering the caravan there was grass everywhere, in every room, the beds had been half done, some had been made, the rest with dirty covers taken off and left in a heap! The bin under the sink was still full of someone else ...- Read jewelsdiamond's review (803 words)

We have been to Haven before so had a fair idea of what to expect at Burnham On Sea and we weren't disappointed. The site is well laid out in a lovely area. Our caravan was clean and other then the single beds being a bit small, we were very happy. There is the usual slot machine area, luckily my kids aren't over bothered by all that as it's hard to avoid. The swimming pool is nice, not huge but big enough. Some of the time they had to operate sessions, but as this was peak season with rubbish weat ...- Read valskey's review (493 words)

Me my husband and two small children stayed here for 5 nights in May, very happy with our pitch and thought that the touring site was in an excellent location close to all the amenities, the beach was a short walk away (5 mins) through the park and across a very quiet road so safe for the children, we hired a pedal go-kart and was very surprised that is only cost £3.00 for half an hour as we have stayed at Butlins and it was much more expensive. Downside was that the boiler on the showers ...- Read Guest's review (141 words)

We had a caravan for the weekend for us and our 2 children plus my sister and her husband. The end bedroom was fine, the other two bedrooms were best suited just for children but there was another make up double bed in the lounge area. It was lucky that we had decent weather and could spend most of our time outdoors. We only returned to the caravan for some meals and to sleep. We took our kids bikes to the park and they enjoyed riding round on them - at least it was free. I don't think I wo ...- Read riker's review (174 words)

Once we arrived we were shocked to discover that we had to wait and queue for our keys in the showroom upstairs, after a fairly tiring journey we didn't expect to have to wait and already start spending holiday money which you have to when you have three young kids. The entertainment was a little boring although the funstar staff seemed eager enough, our biggest dissappointment was the food, microwaved Lasagne and frozen vegetables is not my idea of nice food, and at £7.95 I was disgusted, ...- Read townster74's review (184 words)

Booked our three night break the day before we were due to check in, received confirmation via email within 5 minutes, directions to the park were on there as well. Price was excellent, paid £109.00 for 3 nights in a 4* two bed caravan including £10 linen deposit.
Arrived at park following day at 2pm, checked straight in, no queuing. Collected linen. Found caravan no problem, all clean and tidy. We were actually given a three bedroom caravan, which was a bonus, to dump all of the ...- Read Carrk's review (254 words)
