Just returned from a two week break at Holiday Resort Unity (Brean Park) our party consisted of 5 (3 adults 2 children) age range 4-62. The caravan was clean and lounge/kitchen area spacious. Bedrooms were small but beds were very comfortable and the caravan was one of the warmest I've stayed in. The red field is a prime location close to all the amenities but far enough not to be disturbed in the evening. The park was extremely well staffed by very helpful and friendly people and was... Burnham on sea holiday village..Total RIP OFF, why i here you ask well lets see...
We hired our caravan from the owner direct as haven charge double for your stay, which meant we had to buy our entertainment passes seperatley.
1. Nothing is free except the childrens park which you have to buy an entertainment pass to get access to, which is costly at £22 per adult and £18 per child,
2. You have to use your pass to get access to the bar and restaraunt and swimming pool
3. Apart from swimming... (read more)

Me and my family stayed here for three nights. We bought entertainment passes, and got a lot of use out of them.
The swimming pool was average. It has a small flume and a smallish pool, accompanied by a bad bubble pool. The layout of this pool is very good though. It is a shame because when the pool is busy, you only get just over an hour before it is your turn to come out.
The amusements arcade is very good and equipped with games for all ages, but the prizes for the tickets aren't... (read more)

We stayed at the Haven Burnham-on-Sea park for a four night midweek deal at the end of September 2010. We paid extra to upgrade the caravan and for the gas, electric and linen.
We didn't pay for the club passes... why should one pay extra for the privilege of spending money in their bar! But they gave them to us anyway.
The caravan was really nice and spotlessly clean. It wasn't top of the range with a veranda but had a DVD player and microwave etc. A nice bonus was a small convector heater... (read more)

Arrived at Haven in Burnham on Friday september 17th 2010. check in was really simple and friendly. arrived just before the 4pm check in time and our caravan was ready. we found the caravan realy easily from the directions given at reception. We were meant to have a standard 2 bed caravan but on opening of the caravan we found we had been upgraded to a lovely 3 bedroom that also had a dvd player and a microwave which we wouldn't of... We only travelled from Bristol to Burnham, about 30 miles, for the weekend.
The caravan was comfortabl, but not over clean and beds were not made up as advertised.
Kids entertainment was good.
Ok for a weekend but think a week would be too long and prove boring. (read more)

Just come back from Burnham on Sea and we had a great time. We arrived about an hour early and our caravan was ready. We were right on the lake in an exclusive caravan which was very clean and tidy. The only complaint I would have is that the mattress was very springy and for the price we paid I would have expected it to be of better standard,, luckily there was a spare duvet in the wardrobe which i used as a mattress topper.
The staff were very friendly, and the food edible.

Just spent a few days in the touring part of this site. Great site and relly helpful warden - he even brought over a barrow full of wood shavings to help us to dry out our grass pitch before putting the awning up. However, the huge downside for me was the toilet/shower facilities. They were filthy most of the time, and the showers were freezing - too cold for small children to use. The cleanliness of the toilets, I know, is a lot to do with those using them, but Haven don't help... (read more)

Entertainment is excellent and Haven parks are expensive so be prepared! When it rains the my 7,11yr old are kept busy from 10-4. Beach/town is 10 min walk. We got back from Burnham on sea Haven just over week ago and normally I hate coming home but I was really looking forward to it! We went camping for 5 nights but came home a night earlier. We had a great pitch (so we first thought!) right opposite the toilet and shower block which meant that the kids could pop over and we didn't have to worry about them going too far. There were 4 showers and unless you go very early we had to queue and wait. They were cleaned I believe first thing in the... (read more)

Went to Burnham for the last week in June, weather was fabulous, very hot and Burnham is a nice town with lots of amenities and Explosion, one of the acts were very good, however, those are the only good points. Have just spent a lovely 4 night break at this Haven site, Burnham On Sea. We found it very clean and tidy with teams actually picking up rubbish at 8.15am, we found plenty to do during the day and a relaxing treat in the early evening was to walk around the 2 fishing pools watching the canadian geese tend their babies or watch the woodpecker peck for worms or see the baby bunnies go diving for cover when they saw us. Had a brilliant time- got there and checked in straight away no hanging around. Got to our pitch to see the amount of space we had with space to park the car too! Excellent! So not over-crowded and we were really pleased.

The holiday park at Burnham On Sea was pleasant enough and the caravan was clean however there were some fundamental problems which would be so simple to fix, such as; no paths to caravans which meant the surrounding grass became a quagmire (particularly as some residents insisted on driving onto the grass) and the caravan floor quickly became covered in mud, very poorly equipped caravans and not enough cutlery & plates for the number of berths, no vacuum or mop only a broom, no heating... Having spent a few enjoyable nights at haven Devon cliffs, I was disappointed with Burnham on sea. The caravan, a superior plus, was ok for summer, but in early winter the heating just couldn't keep up, and the draught coming through the windows made staying there very difficult - we left 3 days early.

We have been to Burnham before, back in 2002 and it was fab then, I even wrote a letter to the park praising them up. HOWEVER THIS TIME, Was disappointing. There are loads more caravans, it has expanded a lot. On arrival of our PRESTIGE Caravan, the doors were not locked, on entering the caravan there was grass everywhere, in every room, the beds had been half done, some had been made, the rest with dirty covers taken off and left in a heap! We have been to Haven before so had a fair idea of what to expect at Burnham On Sea and we weren't disappointed.
The site is well laid out in a lovely area. Our caravan was clean and other then the single beds being a bit small, we were very happy.

We had a caravan for the weekend for us and our 2 children plus my sister and her husband. The end bedroom was fine, the other two bedrooms were best suited just for children but there was another make up double bed in the lounge area. The Burnham On Sea Haven Park is the worse I have ever come across within the chain. We have stayed at 5 other Haven Parks and the standard has been high, especially Weymouth Bay.
