“not very good really”

Written on: 07/06/2012

If it wasn't arriving at the hotel to find faeces smeared over the walls and bed, it was the Mexican maid hiding in the bathroom rocking on the floor repeating the words "Please not the mask again daddy!" I spent my first night sleeping in the bath as the maid refused to changed the bed sheets. After asking to change rooms countless times I was told they were fully booked, however I managed to climb across the balcony and break in to the next room. I was not overall pleased with my... to sum it up, there was poo full of blood all over the walls of my room. then, as i walk into the bathroom there is a giant great black man with a young child absolutely dominating them! i was shocked to actually see his penis within the rectum. he then ran out screaming, jumped from the balcony and ran down the street naked! apart from this, the food, staff and overall cleanliness of the hotel was very pleasant and i actually enjoyed my stay although i still have nightmares of what i saw... Firstly, when I entered my room there was faeces smeared all over the walls and bed sheets. When I asked for a new room I was told that they were all fully booked. However, i ended up breaking into the room beside me to find two small Indonesian children in the missionary position on the bead. We managed to reach an agreement and I assumed the reverse cowgirl position on top of the larger of the two Indonesian children. I had my photos taken at the hotel by Ali who owns the in hotel market and they were beautifully done. A lovely Gentleman was outside to meet us and took our luggage to reception (You then get the same service to escort you to your front door, so that you're not walking around aimlessly the first day, trying to find where you're meant to be).

We will return in August 2009 for our first stay at Greenlands Hotel. Firstly, this is not the most luxurious hotel in the world. It is well maintained, attractive and very clean. Considering that it can be booked very cheaply through some operators, it is excellent value for money. Remember that the operators/airlines get the lions share of your fee - you actually pay the hotel a pittance, for which the Greenland gives you a hell of a lot! Comfortable clean rooms, idyllic setting, superb... (read more)

The first 5 days of our holiday at Greenland Hotel were OK. The hotel rooms were a little shabby with blood stains on wall, duvet spread and net curtain but as it was the end of the season this could be forgiven.
