All the eye witnesses gave different descriptions of the shooter, looking back at the police sketches tells you there were more then berkowitz doing this. When he was arrested people were stunned by his appearance because it did not match any of the stetches. Maybe a little bit of a stretch in lumping all of the other crimes and killers together (Manson). Great book, I read it in 3 days and read it again about a year later, it would have made a great movie.

Maury Terry, The Ultimate Evil - This is the third best book I have ever read. I do not look at the news or the world the same way twice. I even felt that Chandra Levy may have been part of a cult killing even Laci Peterson. This book begins small and encompasses a lot by the end. You never would believe where this book ends up. Amazing how the first case in Stanford University ends up as part of this network of evil.

Synopsis of Maury Terry, The Ultimate Evil:
"Did David Berkowitz, perpetrator of the infamous "Son of Sam Murders" act alone? Or rather was he a hit man for a dangerous satanic cult, the Process Church of the Final Judgment? When Berkowitz confessed to the murders in 1977, investigative reporter Maury Terry set out to collect the real facts and reveal the true evil mastermind behind these crimes - as well behind many other ritualistic homicides he attributes to the cult. In this chilling book, ...
