“No seat on transfer coach - had to sit on floor.....”

We had an enjoyable holiday with Thomas Cook until it got to the point of the transfer back to the airport. The coach that turned up was in a right state but carried the Thomas Cook name on the side. A lot of seats were missing and some of the overhead vents / lights were hanging down - not looking good. There was not enough seats so I ended up sat on the floor for the one hour transfer which included Motorway routes. “Lack of service is appalling”

We have recently returned from Lanzarote having booked our holiday with Thomas Cook. We have had quite a few very enjoyable holidays with them before and expected the same level of quality and service. How wrong we were!! We chose our seats for the outgoing flight online but when we checked in online the seats had been changed. What is the point of offering a choice if this is simply overridden? “Shocking service”

Been trying since March to get a refund after their website crashed when trying to add extras to my booking. Payment was taken off my card twice. They have admitted their mistake yet 4 months later, 22 phone calls & countless amounts of emails, I still haven't had my money refunded. Their customer services leaves a lot to be desired. “Flight crew and cockpit opened to the passagers ”

We have flown with thomas cook now 3 times in the last 9 months. Each time the different air crew are appling they are rude to the passagers, very Unprofessional, do not care unless you have a child The worst thing that we have experience with thomas cook was our flight back home. The cockpit was open for anyone to enter, that is great security for any mad person to take over the plane. “Flight delay”

Booked to fly to Heraklion Crete 3/5/2016 flight time 7am arrived at airport at 3.30am waited, waited eventually TC staff ap[peared to tell us all there had never been a flight scheduled for that time and everyone "should have been inform". Well obviously not us. We were give £10 at around 9.30am and pour flight took off at 13.55pm we lost a full day of our holiday. Low and behold TC are saying were were on;ly del;aged 22mins. “Go elsewhere”

I will never use Thomas cook again. There service is awful, there package holidays are dirty and basic facilities are not provided. They do not tell you bottled water is not included yet tell you to only drink bottled water. they don't let you know there are better aquaparks down the road from you so you pay extra to use the aquapark that the hotel is related to, to be fair though the reps know nothing about the hotels they offer so why would they know! “This was our first holiday abroad for our family we...”

This was our first holiday abroad for our family we paid 2300 for 14 nights all inclusive at paradise island playa blanca lanzarote. When we arrived it took us over 1 hour to check in the food they had saved for us was disgusting and cold. The room looked amazing but the beds and pillows were as hard as stone. In a country whose economy is based on services, Thomas Cook stands alone as a miserable and unsettling reminder of how things used to be…not in the UK though, but in the third world… a long long time ago. A company which in effect has managed to operate without customer services is quite a feat in this time and age. “Don't take Thomas Cook Insurance!”

We had to use Thomas Cook as we had received a Gift to be used with this Company - normally we arrange our holidays ourselves. We took out their Travel Insurance, for convenience, but it was an expensive mistake, as for 4 days, it cost 20% more than our usual provider charged us, last year, for 21 days of cover! “No wonder they are struggling and grab your money....”

State one price which was paid in full. A month before going said each person had to pay 'Tourist Tax'. The tax doesn't exist it is an administration charge for registering to use casinos in Las Vegas. Contacted the hotel who confirm Thomas Cook are charging the £300. However Hotel also state that you can register at the Hotel FOC on arrival or previous to arrival. After contacting Thomas Cook they said lawyers were on the case and couldn't possibly comment??? Stayed in hotel apartment for 1 week.Enjoyed it very much. “Cant get through To Call Center. Then Told Lies”

I never knew the company i booked my holiday with had used Thomas Cook. After getting the flight reference and going on their website to book the last 2 xl seats i got an error message and they advised me to call. Got through after being on hold for 40 minutes and the guy said the seats had already been booked. i realized that it was i had tried to book them and tried to cancel it at my end. “Customer Services must be understaffed”

The issue I have with TC is that you cannot get hold of customer services, I spent 35 minutes on hold waiting for someone to answer the call before getting cut off .... “Travel Agent Which Does Not Provide Any Meaningful Support”

We were unfortunate enough to be in Paris during the recent terrorist incident. We tried for over 2 hours calling various departments in Thomas Cook to try to get back home, but all departments said that they could not access our booking. We had to wait until a local office in UK opened at noon to get any sort of response.
