The Motorola V220, was possibly one of the worst phones! The texts hardly send... never and internet service...the camera comes all grainy... and there's no music video etc etc.... and what's with the games!

In general am satisfied. Motorola V220 is one of the best phone I ever bought, I would prefer the camera to be 2 mega pixel. Great phone, 4 x cam zoom, battery life, externally screen, shielded for button pressing, built in mp3 player, coverage, unlockable, durability, descent camera, water proof, not easily scratch.

Don't buy it for the camera. It's fine as a cheap phone & text device though

This phone is worth buying if you want something simple and if all you want is a phone for calling and texting then this is fine, but for those who want the high tech job including Bluetooth and video recording as I said before Samsung and Sony Ericsson is your best bet. Also, the battery life if poor. I charged my mobile yesterday and by the end of the day (it had been more or less on standby) it had only one bar.
I'm not impressed with Motorola and I'm going to go for the high tech phones ne ...

I liked this mobile when I got it. I've had it for a year now but I really needed MP3 video and Bluetooth so I've bought I new phone but liked my Motorola V220 very much. Worth the money, would recommend it.

I wanted a camera phone and the Motorola V220 was the cheapest I could find at the time. I liked the MP3 ringtones but it didn't have much memory - enough for cut down ringtones only and shared with photos. It was difficult to transfer photos and mp3s as there was no software provided with the phone. It did use the same mini usb connector as my digital camera so I could connect it to my PC and I used some trial software. After a few weeks I went onto a contact and chose a Samsung which provi ...

I bought this phone about 18 months ago. A friend bought exactly the same model about a month later, but she had the sense to get insurance. She has had hers replaced three times under the insurance policy because of problems. I've just given up and bought a new phone because of recurring problems with screen on the Motorola V220, battery life and Sim crashes etc. No it's not the Sim, because my new phone has been fine for the last three months with the same Sim card.

I like this Motorola V220 phone, the style in particular. I have the silver one and it starts to look scratched and tatty quite quickly as one of the other reviewers has already said. It's fine texting but if you text a bit and use the alarm, as I do, then the battery life is not great and you'll be recharging it every second day. A few months old now and it's starting to feel a bit less screwed together. A decent enough phone if you can pick one up cheaply on a PAYG.

This Motorola V220 phone is a piece of trash, camera went out within 3 months, there is no reception, ringer on loudest you can barely hear. Now one year from purchase, the LCD screen does not display, so basically I am stuck with this piece of junk until my contract expires in 6 months! I wish I had keep my Nokia instead of "upgrading", as suggested by my carrier.

I am delighted with my phone. It looks good and has been totally reliable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a straight forward phone that won't let you down.

For a phone priced at £49.99 I think the Motorola V220 has all the appropriate features which you would expect from a mobile phone. I would recommend this phone to a light user who only wishes to text and call people when needed.

I suggest you buy the black Motorola V220 mobile phone like I did, or the pink one, because the silver one gets scratched and tatty quite quickly (a friend has one). Overall. it is a great phone for what it cost! Black is back!

The Motorola V220 mobile phone is small and reliable for a very good price. It has hands free voice recognition which is excellent. There is a built-in camera which takes good photo's, although viewing them on the phones small screen doesn't show them to the best quality: Transfer them to your PC if you have one. The battery life is excellent too, and can be on stand-by for nearly two weeks; obviously depending on the phones use.
Overall, it is a reliable and good value for money mobile phone ...

The Motorola V220 mobile phone has a very good camera. The battery life is perfect, and the screen size is perfect for me! Slim line, Small, will fit into your tiniest handbags girls, and it fits in my jeans pocket (very small pockets). My friends say it's awesome, and 2 of my friends got one for Christmas.

The internet accessibility is very good. I have got 5 ringtones so far. I got my Humps last week; that's how easy it is.
    My brother was jealous!

A silver one is easily found, although ...

WAP is hard to get hold of on the Motorola V220! HERE IS HOW TO GET FULL WAP ON MOTOROLA V220...

This now depends on your network, so go to your network website and look for the WAP settings. If the V220 doesn't show, click it as V600 or V620.

If you're on the O2 network go to O2.co.uk, then click WAP, then click O2 active and GPRS settings, and carry on from there putting the phone as the Motorola V620.

They will tell you what to do from there! It does work! I did it myself! ...

I'm in two minds about the Motorola V220 mobile phone. I've had it for about a year and it does the job, although it is difficult to do anything else due to the VERY poor memory capacity and battery life.

If I had known about the Motorola V220 mobile phone I would never have bought it!

Br>Within 3 months my camera no longer worked, and when people phoned me I had to put it on loudspeaker, or the phone would not work. As well as this, when I am on the phone to people, they can rarely hear me! Finally, my aerial has also fallen off!

I would not have bought the Motorola V220 phone if I knew what I was in for. It has a small battery, bad camera quality which meens most of your pictures are blurred. The ringtones are an awful selection. The aerial was not securly fastened on and wouldn't do up so I am constantly holding on to it. I would have rather have gone without a phone.

For the price, the Motorola V220 is a good phone (£64 pay as you go). The camera isn't brilliant by todays standards, but is ok for fun snapshots.

My biggest gripe is the WAP and MMS, which would not work until I configured the settings for these manually (found instructions on Vodafone website, (for V525). Tried these on my V220 and it worked).
I would suggest that this is a problem with the service provider, rather than the phone itself.

This phone is a vast improvement over ...

I have never once been able to get WAP on my Motorola V220 mobile phone, and I have to keep switching the phone off and on again, as the reception keeps vanishing. The battery goes down to 1 bar the day after charging it fully, it won't send picture messages, and sometimes texts don't send/arrive until a couple of days later! However, I love the cute little handset, and the camera is OK if you don't want anything too flash.
