    Good Points: Powerful and cheep


    Bad Points: Trigger is hard to pull and is heavy for an air rifle

    The SMK KL3-B is a fairly accurate rifle (having recrowned the barrel) - 1.5 inch groups at 30yds. Power is about 6.5ft/lbs - not enough for hunting but plenty good enough for plinking. With a strip down and relube is a very smooth shooter but it is hard to do much with the heavy trigger as it is a single piece that engages directly with the piston. This is a shame as with a better trigger this would be a truly great little gun. Build quality is agricultural - like farm machinery it won't break ...

    The SMK Kl3-b was my first air rifle and i was very pleased with its performance, it is quite powerful at 11.2 ft lbs and can drop a rabbit at 25 m. It was very good value for money with very good accuracy.
