Just returned from The Pomorie Hotel Sunny Beach, dont eat there the food is awful, same slops every night, the stainless steel containers that the food is served in were not cleaned all week, no cups for hot drinks, had to use plastic see through beakers, most guests bought their own. Flies and birds flying around the restaurant. Fortunately there are some very nice bars and restaurants locally, and very cheap.

Hotel PomorieWe had a good time however I was not impressed with the hotel all inclusive selection of food as it was never different and very oily. The hotel staff expecially the sports entertainers were pleasent but bar staff left a alot to desired. In my opinion I would not return to this hotel again due to the costs of the holiday it just wasnt value for money. We found ourselves eating out everyday so the all inclusive wrist band was pointless to us. There is very limited selection on free a ...

I would not recommend Hotel Pomorie, Sunny Beach, to any one at all. Bulgaria is a nice place I would consider re-visiting but just not to that hotel. No lifts, food seemed to be cold and uncooked, the plates were dirty and also the cutlery. There was only 1 bar 4 all inclusive and the service was very poor. The tables didn't seem to be cleaned for the next set of diners. Good point was near the beach ,thats the only good point. I was on holiday here 08 august to 22 august 2008.

Myself ,partner and the 2 kids were at Hotel Pomorie, Sunny Beach, on holiday in May 2008. Found the hotel and staff very nice and helpful. The swimming pool is terrific and although I didnt personally go in as I couldn't swim my kids used it daily . This year I will be in there every day as I taught myself to swim on a later holiday. The kids club - my kids loved 2 x 3 hour sessions daily. Its the first family holiday that we have actually had a break and time to ourselves on. There is one t ...

My family and I have visited Bulgaria three times and on the last two occasions had a wonderful holiday, the hotel Pomorie has a really bad feel to the area with lots of the other restaurants outside of the hotel treating the place as a joke, with reference to the bad food and hygiene. If you want an 18-30 holiday this maybe for you, however if you range over this age then avoid the hotel as it is very loud.

Hotel Pomorie is close to the beach, perfect location, beach and lazur club everyday. Food not so good but plenty of fruit available. Went all inclusive but hardly ever used bar...wouldn't go all inc again. We went all incl 31 8 08 until 14 09 08, weather was fabulous, the hotel room was clean and it was a bargain holiday. Will consider next year.

We moved hotel (with the help of the Balkan Rep) but had to pay extra and new hotel The Grand Hotel, sunny Beach was far superior - good food and pleasant surroundings. Still had to have all inclusive drinks in plastic cups and still very limited choice. But all in all was very much better. I don't think we will ever be back in Sunny Beach.

Just returned from the hotel Pomorie and its not as bad as some reviews suggest. The food leaves a lot to be desired but generally find something edible. If you go here during a really hot spell then it will be a problem [ie] no air con. But generally we didn't find hotel a problem. Really good for the kids.

My advice is if you have a problem or a complaint, there are ways to complain. Not shouting the odds. Please and thank you goes along way. If anything I feel sorry for the staff as they have to put up with ranting brits who spoil the holiday for everyone. This is the first year the hotel is all inclusive, yes the sports bar and the pool bar are franchised but that is set to change when the lease expires at the end of the year. My only complaint would be there was no air con but fans were provided ...

If I was you, I wouldn't go to this hotel, whether bed and breakfast and definitely not all inclusive. The food was awful, there were 4 bars in Pomorie and only 1 was actually all inclusive and is in the lobby, the drinks were given in plastic cups and they were littered all over the place. Some of the staff I dealt with were arrogant to the all inclusive staff, if you are paying like my husband and I were they, in my experience they are likely to be lovely too you.

The cleaner did not clean ...

As a holiday destination Sunny Beach is great for families and couples with its great beach and entertainment at night. As for the Hotel Pomorie I would not recommend it to my worst enemy let alone a friend.

We went here in June this year, 2008. We went all inclusive but would not do it again. The hotel is okay but we had to eat out which cost us extra. Sunny beach is lovely, beach is great, lovely restaurants, if we go back, we will go to a bed and breakfast.

Aside from the food it is a very nice place for families. Although we do not have children, the children we did see at the hotel seemed happy as aside from the pool, there were a lot of activities to keep them busy.
The hotel was gilding the lily a bit when they advertised they had entertainment.
There was no air conditioning and we had to sleep with the balcony door open. Our room was situated at the front of the hotel and it was quite noisy from the holiday makers who carried on until 5 o ...

We went all inclusive for 2 weeks at end of May 08 the food was the same everyday and cold, you can only get tea or coffee at certain times of the day, alcohol drinks you can only get from 1 bar in the hotel.
The entertainment wasn't to my liking, but the people doing it worked really hard, I found some of the staff to be a bit less than friendly, there is only 1 toilet in the bar area and it takes you ages to get in it, there is 1 futher down the corridor but its a long way if you have had load ...

Hotel Pomorie is a very modernised comfortable hotel in the heart of all the action of Sunny Beach. Located right next to the disco Lazur, it is perfect for adults to go out and have a good time, and find their way easily back to the hotel. The staff in the Pomorie are very friendly and willing to help at any time- if you are in the bar late at night, they stay up until you are ready to go to bed! There are lots of things for children to do- they have computers (with MSN messenger and lots of ga ...

Hotel Pomorie family rooms are huge, and very clean, not sure on other appartments. All staff extremely friendly especially the staff that work around the pool bar. Food is fantastic and well proportioned, a lot for money! Ocean bar next to the hotel is FAB! dont recommend The Fat Cat across the road! The pool is fantastic and very clean, but try and get down for sunbeds as soon as you can, but a grassed area to bathe on lilos are just as good!

We went early June 2004 for two weeks; we stayed at the Hotel Pomorie which was in sunny beach, A lovely Bulgarian beach resort. The hotel and pool were very clean. There were lots to choose for breakfast from bacon and eggs to ice cream but it was basic. There are also plenty of good cheap restaurants including the one inside the hotel at the back run by Maria. The rooms at the back are best as rooms at the front do suffer noise pollution from nearby clubs at night and there's no air conditio ...
