    Good Points: Ease of use.

    Fast start up.

    Uses AA rechargable batteries so spares can be bought cheaply.


    Bad Points: Limited options for more advanced photographers.

    Battery life could be better (although this is a problem with most digital cameras).


    General comments: The Casio QV R40is an excellent camera for the price. Presets for various situations - e.g. landscape, portrait, night-time make it a doddle to use. Very acceptable results without having to fiddle around with lots of settings.

    The Casio QV R40 is an excellent all round camera for beginners or more advanced photographers who want a fast auto camera with a superb quality lens giving a sharp good colour balanced image under all conditions.
